I dont know if this old or not but when you start a game they have those old mk towers of the players you face I think thats a kool touch.

Yep, it looked really god, I would ́nt say tower, I would say rocky hill with lots of caves full of opponents smile

And it is an improvement, I missed the whole thing about knowing who I was going up against in mkda-.

Im so glad they brought back the towers i love the old school stuff especially the retro stages and the music for those stages.Listening to deadpool music in 3d in that vid from gamespot was very nostalgic.

Well... I just remember watching an interview of Boon where he was playing MKD, and after he chose the character the game just load and it didn't show the towers? or am I wrong??? confused however the towers are shown in the background of an stage in Chess!

Great news.

As little a detail as it is, I was really hoping theyd bring the towers back. It just adds to the whole atmosphere of the game.

Also this makes me think Endurance matches are back too.

I love all the retro stuff they have in MK:D. I think its kick ass that they brought back the classic stages and the tower. All they need now is video endings.

I dont get why not mortal kombat 4/gold had it. The slide shows with audio were ok I guess but video endings would make it perfect.
