Ok this may be a dead topic but imma see if anyone else has noticed it!
the formula for mortal kombat has changed in this game! for example
the formula usualy is pretty simple...
Mk1 you fight Goro Then Shang
Mk2 you fight kintaro Then Shao Kahn
Mk3 you fight motaro Then Shao Kahn
Then Mk4 Messed It Up WIth Quan Chi and Shinok!
Mk5 Brought it back You Fight Molock Then Quan And Shang
But In M6 Deception
the formula has completly changed
As you can see above, you usualy fought the big huge bad ass body guard type guy, then the main boss....but in Mk4 there was no big bad ass body guard!!! and in Mk6 Onaga is the one you would think would be the Body guard Type Character but hes the main boss...and it SAYS Kitana is his body guard..then why dont you fight her....its strange...anyone else noticed this??

Goro was the sub-boss
and Shinok is the same as Quan Chi in MKDA so nothing was broken in MK4

"thats what i just said...there was no goro/body gurd type character in mk4"
~~Goro was the sub-boss/body guard type character in MK4.
"Goro Kintaro Motaro and Molock....there isnt one of them in mk4 or mk6"
~~Again, yes there is, Goro. Goro was the Sub-Boss/body guard type character in two games; MK and MK4. And I can see why there wasn't one in Deception. The Dragon King is a big monster. There isn't really a need for two big monsters one right after the other. I'm honestly glad there wasn't. Noob-Smoke is tricky and unique, which is what helps make Deception one of the best in the series; it's unique.

What do you mean "originally"? He was in all home consoles. Maybe in the planning stages he wasn't, but explain what you mean by "originally"? There isn't a MK4 Game, on the consoles of Nintendo 64 and the Playstation that doesn't have Goro as one of the Sub-Bosses.
And it explains, Goro survived, and went into hiding because of the shame, of losing to Liu Kang. Besides, it only says Liu Kang defeated Goro, it never says Liu Kang killed him.

Goro came back to gain revenge on Liu Kang from the shame the defeat brought upon him after the tenth MK Tournament. Goro didn't die until the time after MK4 and before MK:DA. Somewhere in there, he was killed by Noob Saibot. This is how it is suppose to go.
Still under orders from Shao Kahn, Noob Saibot was commanded by the emperor to eliminate any groups or individuals whose power might pose a threat to Shao Kahn's rule in Outworld. Many would-be leaders have been slain by the dark ninja, but his current target will be his most challenging. The allied forces of princess Kitana and prince Goro were locked in Mortal Kombat with Shao Kahn's army when Noob Saibot made his move on an unsuspecting and battle-weary prince Goro. The two fought savagely, but it was Noob Saibot who gained the upper hand and mortally wounded Goro.

It sounds to me like, if we HAD fought Kitana, you would've complained anyway, because she wasn't a "huge bad ass body guard type."

No, I didn't notice, for you see, whenever I play the game, I turn of my system off right after I beat Noob-Smoke, and I fly to the moon, and go into a cave, where I sit under a rock, with my eyes shut and my fingers in my ears.
I mean no, wait, wait, you fight Onaga last? Wow. On my version you fight Shang Tsung afterwards. And if he beats me he cuts my head off with his sword.
...
OF COURSE WE FREAKIN' NOTICED!?!??!!
Captain Friggin obvious...

I must say, I happened to like Quan Chi's Fatal in DA. The fact of pulling someone's head so hard, that it pulls there spinal cord up into their neck area, I thought that was quite a unique fatal, and in my opinion quite disgusting to think about that happening to someone. It did not have to be bloody, it was enough to make me cringe. I give two thumbs up for a different kind of fatal. The whole "chopping off someone's head" is getting lame, and most fatals do that in some way or fashion.
It's ok for some, but there needs to be a variety, makes characters unique too.

I'm talking about the fact that in your original post so many words you say in so many words, "Did anyone notice that in this game there's no big huge monster sub-boss, and instead the real boss is a big huge monster."
And I repeat, of course we freakin noticed.
That's like saying, "Did anyone notice that Sub-Zero's costume has changed ALOT since the 1st game!? I mean they completely changed his costume's format! Did anyone notice?"
