true they are mortal, but they can live for over 10,000 years, earth warriors live for only 100 years, tops. I think it was supposed to be only for 1 winner, Liu Kang, so he could return for the next generation and battle again. However, after seeing that these 3 characters have practically aged 0 ever since the first game, my guess is that the price of the Elder Gods was given to the 3, maybe that’s how it was ment to be.
I always thought about that theory, but who knows.

Of what I know, it should only go to just one of them. They've never really mentioned anything of that since MK1. Knowing the MK Team, they'll retcon it to hell.

Maybe...but it was important after all, and an interesting part of the storyline. Immortal life (no one ages) to the victors so they could live enough to battle for a next gen kombat.

Who said I going even say "edenian years", I have always felt that all the realms age the same, but at different rates of speed, because at the end of the day, age doesn;t protect you(maybe from the law but for so long

Yeah I noticed that the orginal MK cast haven't really age, just maybe for saving the world so much that The Elder Gods made then ageless, they aged but don't get old like Liu Kang.
