Reading the thread: "Who wants Kintaro back?" by jmiguel, I had an idea...
XiahouDun84 had pretty good comments about his story of what could've happened to Kintaro during all those years. So for all you talented writers, here's what this thread is all about:
*** Write the biography of your favorite character (CANON ONLY), and there must be no Copy+Paste: you write his/her bio in your own words. ***
For example;
-Quan Chi's bio begins in MKMythologies and ends with MKDA.
-Shang Tsung's bio begins with MK1 and ends in MKDA.
So if it's not canon, do not post here. And if the character has no background in some game (like Jade in MK2) then write something that would make sense, or write the least that is known!
I'm working on Mileena's bio.
I'm sure plenty of you will write Ermac's, Scorpion's or Sub Zero's bio!
So send the writers impressions and POSITIVE comments about their stories.
** Sorry it was long

I'm writing a bio here, and it may take me an hour to finish it. (so its different than a paragraph on Noob Saibot and two on Nightwolf)
get it lol?

Mileena
By the time Earthrealms strength was decreasing at the hands of the shokan prince Goro and his merciless master Shang Tsung, the emperor Shao Kahn of Outworld ruled tyrannically with his two twin daughters, both of them believed to be beautiful and deadly assassins. The older one was the princess Kitana; a very wise and dangerous assassin, and her younger sister was named Mileena. She was the more secretive of the two. Both of them were especially trained to become lethal weapons and loyal warriors for Kahn and his personal sorcerer Shang Tsung. Mileena proved to be a quick and aggressive fighter, quick to learn and master martial arts, her favourites being ying yeung and mian chuan. Mileena chose the sai as her weapon of choice, and became one of the greatest assets to Kahns army, but also one of the most dangerous foes to the warriors of Earthrealm. Although her sister and her grew along together, Mileena always kept a big secret for herself, thus they could never have a normal sister bond. Centuries later, Mileena learned that if the upcoming Mortal Kombat would be won, her father Shao Kahn would conquer and possess Earthrealm but that never happened.
Mileena and her sister learned that Shang Tsung had lost the last Mortal Kombat, and in doing so, he also lost their final chance to conquer Earthrealm or did he? He came to Shao Kahn with a plan where he would lure Earths warriors into another tournament, here in Outworld. This is the only reason why the emperor spared Tsungs life, and he also agreed to compete in this tournament, letting no chance of survival to Raidens warriors. So Shao Kahn asked his daughters Mileena and Kitana to fight alongside him in this new Mortal Kombat. The two sisters trained together. One day, Shao Kahn culled the leader of the Tarkatan, Baraka, to travel to Earth with his army to seek and destroy the last champion of Mortal Kombat; Liu Kang, and the Shaolin Temple where he resides. Baraka successfully destroyed the Temple and killed its every members, but he did not find the one called Liu Kang. When he got back to Outworld, Mileena found him and developed a relationship with him. She also learned that Tsungs plans seemed to work and that a new Mortal Kombat was declared. Shao Kahn asked Mileena to keep an eye on her twin, because he knew the princess found out details she never should have known. Baraka and her met often, without anyone knowing, and they developed a close relationship together. The consorts even devised a plan: They would overthrow the emperor if he got weakened, and they would rule as king and queen unfortunately, Mileena was to never saw him again.
As the tournament began, Mileena was sent on Earth to kill of a warrior of the previous Mortal Kombat: Johnny Cage. When, accompanied by her twin Kitana, she launched her attack on Cage, two special forces agents came to help him: Major Jackson Briggs and his partner Steve Beran. The fight became a melee where Mileena defeated Beran and finished him showing her cannibalistic side. The twin princesses then escaped and found refuge somewhere else on the planet. Kitana began to act very curious, and she often escaped without her twin knowing. But Mileena wasnt blind, and she decided to execute her emperors orders and gave Kitana no chance; she confronted her in Mortal Kombat. She soon learned the shocking truth from the mouth of her once thought sister Princess Kitana was once the only daughter of King Jerrod, ruler of Edenia, a dead realm now part of what is called Outworld. So Mileena would be nothing more than a clone of Kitana, meant to be evil like the emperor, meant to replace her as his daughter instead of Kitana, but Shang Tsungs sorcery was not powerful enough, so he failed and created a mutant. Instead of killing Mileena, Kahn decided to keep her as a second daughter in order to have somebody close enough to the princess that could prevent any betrayal. Mileena then cried in pain and launched herself on the princess. She fought , but she lost, blinded by pain and rage.
Mileena found death and was reborn in the Netherealm, where a fallen elder god was ruler. His name was Shinnok. He decided to send Mileena back to Outworld as her spy. She took back her status as Shao Kahns personal assassin, but she could never had her princess status again. Now that Mileena knew about Kahns lies and Kitanas true status, she tried to find Baraka, the only person in the world who ever truly loved her. Baraka had lost in the previous Mortal Kombat, so he exiled himself into lost wastelands, mourning the death of his beloved and going on rampage killing innocents. Their reunion led them to plan another betrayal. Posing as a double agent, Mileena with the help of Baraka would take the princess and her mother, the Queen Sindel, as hostages, so Shao Kahn would have no choice nut to get the Earthrealm warriors to enter a fourth tournament where Baraka would win and become only ruler of Outworld. Unfortunately, when the emperor learned of Barakas return, he asked for his services and appointed him to capture Earthrealm warriors. Baraka failed, and fearful of the emperors wrath, he escaped again. Mileena was alone again and betrayed by the last person she ever had. She continued to fight alongside Shao Kahn under orders of Shinnok. Shao Kahn was defeated, and almost destroyed, but he fled and lost his status as emperor of Outworld.
Shao Kahns defeat gave Shinnok full power, and with his sorcerer Quan Chi, he declared a war to Earthrealm. Mileena was still his servant, although she saw the upcoming war as a way for her to escape her servitude to Shinnok and to avenge her death at the hands of Kitana. She learned that Baraka would be part of this war alongside Quan Chi and her master. In fact, Quan Chi and Baraka had struck a deal where the Tarkatan would murder Shinnok and both would become rulers. Mileena again kept to herself and didnt participate much in this war. Thanks to Quan Chis treachery, Shinnok could be killed, and his forces were decreasing so he had to confront Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat. Shinnok died. With his death, Mileena was freed from his yoke and went on her own plans. When the time had come, she went to Kitanas palace and asked her to have her princess status back. Kitana obviously refused, and it ended up in a fight, where Mileena would be lost.
Ages passed, and her creator Shang Tsung struck an alliance with the sorcerer Quan Chi. The sorcerors were gaining power and were planning on reviving the long lost Dragon Kings undefeatable army. Unbeknownst to them, the sacred egg had hatched, releasing the Dragon King himself. This time, Mileena would not lose; she, along with her former companion Baraka, struck an alliance with the Dragon King. The King would capture the princess, so that Mileena could pose as Kitana and mislead her military forces in attacking Earthrealm. This would give the time the Dragon King needs to achieve his plans

This thread is actually a much different creature than the stickied speculation thread. This is more in-depth and structured, with a few strict guidlines to keep from becoming weighed down with hundreds of posts.
I'll definitely post in this thread when I have a bio ready.
I'll definitely post in this thread when I have a bio ready.
Here's my take on the man himself: Subzero. It's a little long and takes a crack shot at the original Subzero's story and how the Second Subzero came to be...
During the clan wars that waged secretly across the vast plains of China and the islands of Japan there rose a mighty warrior named Hanzo. It was the blood of the Lin Keui that Hanzo desired and all who challenged him met their doom.
However there was one who arose from the ranks of the Lin Kuei to face the invincible Hanzo: a young ninja named Subzero. The two battled in a sun bled field where dusk's light blushed all things into red and before the last of its light could tarry away there stood one victor and it was not Hanzo...but the younger, more inexperienced Subzero.
Because of his unlikely victory over the nemesis of the Lin Kuei Subzero shot up the ranks of his clan and became revered amongst his fellow ninjas. Many years passed and most of his errands and missions were met with seeing through, one in particular involving a lone Sorceror Quan Chi who hired the ninja to find a secret...
...but that is another story. It was during this time that Subzero began to feel watched wherever he roamed, as though the heated eyes of an old foe followed him even into the darkest of places.
During the peak of his powers, the Clan Leaders of the Lin Kuei summoned Subzero and threw down the ultimate challenge and errand: to enter the mysterious Mortal Kombat tournement and assassinate a long time enemy of the ninja clan: Shang Tsung. He accepted this challenge and ventured into Japan to spy on the movement of his new target. He observed from the shadows Tsung's slow but calculated preperation for the tournement, the last of the 10 to finally open the gates to Outworld...
...it was one night, when Subzero strayed too close to a seemingly abandoned warehouse where Tsung had been spotted, he stumbled upon the creature Goro. Tsung had kept Goro in the shadows to taste human flesh in preperation for his title defense and he had designed a trap for unsespecting humans to wander into.
...two nights before a young homeless boy in the streets of Japan, quick with his hands and stealth, was hired to break into Tsung's private property by an unknown source and steal whatever cash or gold he could find. The boy went with a friend and they were caught by Tsung's guards and brought to his throne. Tsung revealed his power and drew his friends soul from his body. The street boy, using his uncanny ability to slip the cuffs of any tough situation, managed to escape and tormented by his friends death he went to the police, knowing nowhere else to go. Leading an investigation against Tsung was a cop named Stryker.
Stryker believed the boy's tales of Tsung and leading a swat team into warehouse where the enigmatic sorceror was tipped to be hiding out the street boy went with them, seeking his own vengeance...
...the trap had been sprung. Tsung unleashed the might of Goro upon the swat team once they were deep within the warehouse. Bullets bounced from his mighty chest, flashes of gunfire revealed only the bellowing of his jaws and the flashing of his teeth before they ripped flesh...
...from the frantic desperation a fire had errupted and amongst the flames Stryker was caught with only a few others, under the shadow of Goro. But before Goro could inflict any more damage the street kid, who was ever watchful, interfered to aid them. But to Goro these were mere insects waiting to be squashed and he ripped them limb from limb, until only Strkyer and the Boy were left. But as he sought to end them, another who had been watching interfered and this was no cop...
...from the shadows Subzero sprung and battled Goro. This time Goro, unprepared for such a challenge, was thrown back and the fires of the warehouse rose higher. The walls and the ceiling threatened to collapse and an explosion shook the foundations, scattering flames like a sea of inferno. Goro fled and Stryker and Subzero were felled and were knocked out cold. The Boy, however, managed to escape the brunt of the blast and he used all his strength to drag Stryker out of the wreckage. He went back for the ninja, who he knew he owed his life to, yet before he was able to drag him out of harms way he noticed the ninja's mask had fallen and he caught a glimpse of his face.
That said, the Boy saved Subzero but no sooner had he dragged him from the flames the ninja vanished and the Boy, from utter exhaustion, fainted. The next thing he remembered was lying in the back of the ambulance, catching glimpses of the inside as the ambulance raced down the road...a cold mist freezing the ceiling...the ceiling smashing into pieces...a blast of air and a blurring dark and blue figure slipping in, his eyes fierce and locked on the boy...then nothing.
Subzero knew his face had been seen by the Boy and therefore had no choice but to either dispatch him or claim him as his slave. Knowing that the Boy saved his life he chose the latter and reluctantly took him with him to the Tokyo harbor where a flotila of the mysterious ships were leaving for Tsung's island. The Boy was frightened and cautious of Subzero at first but the ninja treated him fairly, if not coldly, and he learnt to trust him. Anything was better than the life on the streets.
They travelled in secret to Tsung's island. Along the way, hidden in the pits and bowels of the Nethership, Subzero was haunted by violent images...of one of the Lin Kuei's enemies...the yellow and black ninjas...but only ONE troubled his dreams. Yet he was shrouded by flame, and his eyes were ivory and soulless, and he spoke to Subzero of revenge and death...
Slowly Subzero came to understand who this individual was and in doing so he was struck with horror: the ghost that haunted him was none other than the ghost of Hanzo, the defeated ninja he had murdered when he was younger. Only now the ninja, shunned from the halls of his clan's Afterlife, had taken another name: Scorpion.
Upon reaching the island of Tsung Subzero and the Boy remained apart from the other participants and the Lin Kuei ninja, sensing his demise was at hand, focused all his energy and training into the young Boy he had taken as a pupil. To the Boy he parted with all his secrets, of the Kori power that ran through the blood lines of his family, and the shotokan fighting style, tutoring in fear that the Boy was also in danger. Scorpion continued to goad and haunt Subzero as the tournement waged on, vanquishing his opponents one after the other, promising to show Subzero the same ruthlessness he had shown him.
The time came. Tsung, catching wind of Subzero's intent to hunt him down through the tournement and dispatch him, feared the ninja, knowing of his ability to achieve the seemingly impossible (from his dealings with Quan Chi). He knew there was only on who could stop him and gladly he granted Scorpion the battle he had sought from the very beginning.
The stage had been selected: the Pit. Before traveling into the mountains of the island to meet Scorpion in battle, Subzero farewelled his young tutor. In this farewell he revealed his true intentions in taking him with him to Tsung's island to train him...he revealed to the Boy that he had once a younger brother who had wandered the streets, lost to all, with the same power of the Kori flowing in his veins. And though he thought he would never find him again...fate had somehow brought them together.
And so Subzero trudged off to face the Dead Ninja. And under a terrible storm, on the treacherous Pit they engaged in Mortal Kombat. The battle waged on seemingly forever and many eyes were drawn from the shadows below to be witness...the boy's eyes included. Finally the two ninjas, matched in skill and speed, reached the boundries of their strength but it was the Dead Ninja, Scorpion, formally Hanzo, who delivered the final blow, sending Subzero skittling over the ledge of the Pit where he fell to his doom and was ended.
The Boy ran to Subzero and came to his broken impaled body. He bit back his tears and collapsed by his side, burying his face into his older brothers icy shoulder. But then a resolution clenched itself within him...a renewed desire...
...the Boy looked up and his eyes fell upon Subzero's mask. His trembling fingers reached out for it, unraveling it from his mentor's face.
Then, as the storm reached its pinnacle and the figure of Scorpion dissapated into flame, shooting like a comet into the heavens where he was to meet his Clan Leaders in the after life...the Boy raised the blue ninja mask of the Lin Kuei to his face and, for the first time, donned the identity of Subzero...

Thats it ! You got it.
and by the way Thanks
and by the way Thanks
I liked the Mileena bio quite a bit. The only thing I would really question would be bringing up the Baraka/Mileena story from UMK3. That ending was retconned to do the Shinnok story for her so I think keeping it in as part of her bio is pretty dubious.

The realm of Edenia was a peaceful, prosperous land, ruled by King Jerrod and Queen Sindel. However their peace was cut short when Edenia was invaded by the dark emperor Shao Kahn. Shao Kahn gained dominion over Edenia through the Mortal Kombat tournament, slaying King Jerrod himself. Renaming the realm Outworld, Shao Kahn took Sindel as his wife and adopted Jerrod and Sindel's infant daughter, Kitana, as his own. With Sindel's sudden death, Kahn's influence on Kitana was unchecked and he raised her as his own, training her to be his personal assassin.
Kitana excelled in her training, becoming one of Kahn's most trusted soldiers. However, there was growing concern that Kitana would one day discover the truth about her family and turn against Kahn. So Kahn's top sorcerer Shang Tsung created a clone of Kitana that was intended to be her more loyal replacement. The clone, however was deformed, so it was decided that the clone would be Kitana's watcher instead, in the guise of her "twin" sister, named Mileena.
Kitana lived most of her life completely loyal to Shao Kahn, personally rooting many uprisings and dealing with anyone who questioned Kahn's rule. She quickly gained a reputation as a feared and hated murderer who dished out Shao Kahn's wrath to all who disobey him. However, she was continually haunted by suppressed memories of her past. Seeking answers, Kitana began to investigate in secret, and ultimately discovered the truth about her past and family.
Appalled, disgusted, and devastated that her whole life had been a lie, Kitana vowed to do everything in her power to end Shao Kahn's rule and free her people. At first Kitana feigned loyalty to Kahn but was really waiting for the right time to turn on him.
During the tourmament Shao Kahn held in Outworld, Kitana entered to serve him, but secretly tried to help the Earthrealm warriors win. However, she was discovered by her "sister" Mileena and who challenged her to battle. Kitana managed to defeat and kill Mileena, but her betrayal was now revealed.
During Shao Kahn's invasion of Earth Kitana was put on trial by the High Courts of Outworld for treason. However she fled to Earth where she planned to reach her resurrected mother Sindel and warn her of their true past. With the help of her friend Jade and her new allies from Earth, Kitana managed to elude the assassins Shao Kahn sent to kill his step-daughter and turn Sindel against him. After Kahn's defeat, Kitana returned to her home forever grateful to her friends from Earth.
After Shao Kahn's defeat on Earth, Kitana has worked diligently to free Edenia from his control and regain the trust of her people. Her plans were delayed when Edenia was suddenly attacked by the fallen Elder God Shinnok. Kitana was captured in the ensuing battle, but managed to escape Shinnok's dungeons and help in the fight against him, leading to his defeat.
After Shinnok was destroyed, Kitana returned to her quest to free Edenia and bring peace. She negotiated a truce with the Shokan people of Outworld and formed an alliance. She also succeeded in separating her realm from Outworld, but knew Shao Kahn would never let the realm live in peace. She led the Edenian army into Outworld to strike Shao Kahn while he was still weak and destroy him once and for all. Howver, during the course of the battle, Kitana found herself embroiled in the fight against the Deadly Alliance as well.
With the sudden return of the legendary Dragon King, Kitana disappeared in the following chaos. It is believed she has been captured and being held prisoner.
Since Kitana begun her quest to free her land, she has endured the loss of many loved ones and betrayal by people she had thought of as friends. Despite the loss and pain Kitana has endured in her life, she continues to persevere, determined to free her people and restore the beauty and nobility of her land. And perhaps, someday, redeem herself for her many, many years as Shao Kahn's personal assassin.

I just LOVE the way you've wrote Kitana's bio XiahouDun84 !! Plain cool.
You can do the difference between Kitana's and Mileena's biographies in that Kitana begins with Jerrod and Sindel ruling Edenia: a beautiful life that was ruined. While that of Mileena begins with Shao Kahn: she grew up with a fake life; where everything was a lie.
What I mean is that you could've began Kitana's story making us believe the same lie she believed (as I did with Mileena), but instead, you stayed on the truth side, giving the reader an impression that she was not meant to be evil even when at Kahn's side. I liked it. !!! Keep up, I'd like to see more of your writing eventually!!

Scorpion(MK:Mythologies-MK1):
Hundreds of years ago, a rouge Lin Kuei warrior named Takeda returned to his native Japan and began working there. He boiled down the Lin Kuei arts so that anyone with enough training could use them. The copied arts of Takeda become known as ninjitsu. The ninja clan founded by Takeda became known as the Shira Ryu. Due to the fact that they were led by a renegade Lin Kuei, the Chinese Clan became the archnemesis of the Shira Ryu.
Hundreds of years later, a sorceror named Quan Chi approached the Shira Ryu leader with an offer; he would eliminate the Lin Kuei, if the Shira Ryu retreived a map hidden in the Chinese Shaolin Temples. The man they sent on this task was Hanzo Hasashi, codenamed Scorpion.
Scorpion ventured to the temple. As soon as he had snuck in, the Lin Kuei's greatest warrior, Sub-Zero broke in as well. Scorpion rushed foreward, past the traps and monks of the temple. He reached the map room and waited. Sub-Zero, after viciously slaying anyone who stood before his opponent. Scorpion and Sub-Zero fought viciously, and after a brutal fight, Scorpion was defeated, pleading with the ice warrior for his life. Sub-Zero paid no heed, and murdered the ninja.
Unbeknownst to the Shira Ryu, Quan Chi had approached the Lin Kuei with a similar offer. His goal was to retain the services of the survivor, in order to complete his mission. True to his word, Quan Chi liquidated every last trace of the Shira Ryu, and brought the bones of their leader to the Lin Kuei Grandmaster. He recruited Sub-Zero to follow the map of the elements to retreive a small amulet, guarded by elemental dieties.
After defeating the gods of wind, earth, water, and fire, Sub-Zero stood before the amulet. Before he could take it, Quan Chi appeared and grabbed it. Quan Chi explained how he now had Shinnoks amulet, and left. As Sub-Zero turned to leave, the God of Lightening, Raiden, appeared before him. He berated Sub-Zero for allowing Shinnok's amulet to fall into evil hands, and explained that Sub-Zero would have to follow Quan Chi into the netherrealm and retreive it.
Sub-Zero followed the sorcerer, but was captured in the prison of souls. Realizing that Sub-Zero was a threat to his plan, Quan Chi told the restless spirit of Scorpion that Sub-Zero was the one who murdered his wife and infant child.
Enraged, Scorpion confronted Sub-Zero, and lashed out with supernatural powers. The ice warrior managed to get past Scorpion, defeat the prison keeper, cross the bridge of immortality, enter Shinnok's fortress, defeat Quan Chi's assassins, defeat Chi himself, and retreive Shinnok's amulet.
Upon arriving back in Earthrealm, Sub-Zero gave the amulet to Lord Raiden, and asked him about something the Sorceror told him. Quan Chi had said that the only reason Sub-Zero could even venture into the netherrealm was because his soul was evil. Raiden said that it was true, but it still could be changed.
Sub-Zero went back to working for the Lin Kuei, and was invited to participate in a tournament called Mortal Kombat, by another Sorceror, Shang Tsung. Secretly, he was going to be paid by a wealthy rival if he was the one who killed Tsung.
However, vengeful at their defeat, Shinnok and Quan Chi decided to take the Lin Kuei warrior out of the picture. They unleashed Scorpion, whom entered the tournament. When they fought, it was a long, brutal battle, both warriors pulling out all the stops. Eventually, Scorpion won, and to get revenge for his murder and his family's murder, he killed Sub-Zero.
However, the cost of vengance was great. His face was now nothing more than a skull, his memories of his wife and child were now gone. Scorpion had no reason to continue competing, and left the tournament to return to the netherrealm.
Maybe later I'll post Scorpion's story in MKII-MK Trilogy

This is Sindel's story told from her perspective. Not much to it, but I think it makes Sindel's purpose in Decpetion clearer.
"I abandoned my daughter once. Long ago, I gave in to despair and selfishly gave up my life, leaving my daughter to be raised by a madman. I left her alone. I didn't realize he'd turn her into a killer. I also didn't realize that I was just a pawn. He brought me back. He stripped away my memory, turned me into a monster and used me to take over the realm of Earth. I watched as he spread pain and misery onto the realm and I enjoyed every moment of it.
"I abandoned my daughter, but she didn't abandon me. She refused to give up hope that I could be brought back. That I could break free from his control. With her help, I regained my memory and my life. She never gave up on me.
"I didn't want her to go back to Outworld. I wanted her to stay here and not fight anymore. But she convinced me that Shao Kahn had to be stopped. She convinced me that he was weak and could be destroyed once and for all. She said they could finally truly free Edenia from his evil forever. So I gave her command of the Edenian army and let her lead them into Outworld.
"But something's gone wrong. Shao Kahn is dead, but a new threat has risen. Something calling itself The Dragon King has taken power and spread his army across Outworld like a plague.
"I have received word that my daughter has been captured.
"They tell me not to go. They say she may already be dead. They say it is suicide. I do not fear death. I have tasted it once already. I abandoned my daughter once. I will not, WILL NOT do it again. I will not leave her to die. I'm bringing Kitana back home. And she's coming back alive."

Sonya Blade
Sonya Blade is woman who is no stranger to loss.
The daughter of war hero Major Herman Blade, Sonya and her twin brother Daniel followed in their fathers footsteps by joining the U.S. Military. Sonya excelled in her training determined to live up to their fathers reputation. However, tragedy struck when Daniel was suddenly killed. Although saddened, Sonya continued to train and eventually became promoted to Lieutenant.
Lt. Sonya Blade was appointed to a top Special Forces unit and assigned to eliminate a clan of murderers and thieves called the Black Dragon. At first, Sonya poured herself into her assignment determined to prove herself. However, a member of the Black Dragon named Kano made it personal when he killed Sonyas partner. Partially blaming herself for her partners death, Sonya vowed to take down every last member of the Black Dragon, particularly Kano to avenge her partner.
Sonyas Special Forces team tracked Kano to an uncharted island where a strange tournament was being held. Sonya and her team followed Kano to the island but were captured by the man hosting the tournament, Shang Tsung. Tsung cruelly decided that Sonya must enter the tournament and if she were to win her team would be set free. However, if she lost, her team would be executed.
With no choice, Sonya entered the tournament determined to save her teammates, however Sonyas efforts were in vain. She did not win the tournament and Shang Tsung kept his word and had her team slaughtered. Although Sonya tried her best, she still carried the blame of her teams death on her shoulders.
Afterward, Sonya was captured along with Kano and taken to Outworld where she was held prisoner. However, before her capture she managed to send a distress signal to her commanding officer and friend Major Jackson Jax Briggs. Jax traveled to Outworld where he found and rescued Sonya and they returned to Earth, although Kano had again eluded capture.
Back on Earth, Sonya and Jax tried to warn their leaders of the threat Outworld and its emperor Shao Kahn posed, but no one believed them. Shortly after, Kahn invaded the Earth where tragedy again struck Sonya. The actor Johnny Cage, whom Sonya had gotten close to, was killed in a battle with Kahns hordes. After losing so many loved ones, Sonya has since become cold and slow to trust, fearing shell lose anyone shell get close to. Sonya joined the fight against Shao Kahn determined to free her world and save the people of Earth.
During the war, Sonya found herself facing her enemy Kano. They fought atop a skyscraper not far from Kahns fortress. Remembering all the people she had lost in her life, Sonya fought Kano with a ferocity he couldnt match and he was ultimately defeated. Not long after, Shao Kahn was defeated and Earth returned to normal. With Earth saved, Sonya along with Jax was assigned to lead the Outerworld Investigation Agency, a unit whod explore interdimensional threats like Shao Kahn and to defend Earth from them.
The next threat Sonya would encounter was the fallen Elder God Shinnok. Tracking the last known member of the Black Dragon, Sonya found herself summoned to help in the fight against the mad god. She rejoined her old allies, including the resurrected Johnny Cage, and fought to defeat Shinnok before he could threaten Earth.
After Shinnoks defeat and the last of the Black Dragon gone, Sonya concentrated her efforts on the OIA. She sent the newly recruited cyborg Cyrax to investigate Outworld and report back any potential threats. However, she lost contact with him and later sent the rogue swordsman Kenshi to find Cyrax, however he soon disappeared too. Unwilling to allow any more agents die under he watch, Sonya personally went to Outworld to find the missing agents where she soon found herself again fighting alongside her old allies, this time against the Deadly Alliance of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.
With the return of the legendary Dragon King, Sonya has mysteriously disappeared. Her whereabouts are unknown, but it is certain that wherever she is, Sonya is ready and willing to fight to protect her world and friends. No one else will die under her watch.
