The release date of the strategy guide is confusing me now so I'm going to leave that part of the countdown alone for now.
14 days (or exactly two weeks!!!) left until we get the game, 5 days left until the single digits, and 2 days left until the MKD site updates!

Now that MK:D ships the 4th and in stores on the 5th its back up to 15 days right? Or will we still go according to the 4th?

No, the official release date is still October 4th.
The thing is, for some people the shipping date will coincide with the release date, and for some people it won't. It all just depends how far you live from where it's being shipped from.

If a game is shipping on the 4th then I dont see how anyone can get it on that day. Unless you know somebody. Distance from where its shipped shouldn't matter at all.
Don't get me wrong. I WOULD LOVE FOR IT TO COME OUT on the 4th. But if its true and that its shipping the 4th, we have no choice but to wait until the 5th.
But like I said this is why I reserved it. I wasn't going to but I figure JUST IN CASE EB gets it a day early (3rd/4th) they will call me up and let me know its in to pick up. I wasn't scared of it selling out I just wanted to make sure I get the game as soon as possible.

Well, if it were.. say.. shipped out of Chicago, then the Chicago area stores would have it in before a store in.. say.. Seattle. Makes sense doesn't it?

Yeah but I dont think it'd be a full day earlier than other states. If a store gets it before they are supposed to then they broke the "Street Date" and put it out for sale.
So what you're saying is a game was shipped out from Chicago then Chicago area stores will get it that same day? (The 4th) and other states, NJ for example would get it an entire day later? (The 5th)

nooooo i live in NJ!!! (i know it's just an example but yea) That would really suck if that happens. I feel bad for all those MK fans in Alaska and Hawaii cuz they probably will get it at LEAST a day later. They better have it in the stores around here ON OCTOBER 4TH (i live like a minute from NYC so they'll probably have it on the 4th) =/ 14 days...

The fight wasn't with anyone online. It was with my girlfriend and friends because someone hacked my AIM screen name, got on it, told my girlfriend we had to break up because I was gay and told my friends I was a prick and blah blah.

I live in Jersey too man.
But like... I honestly hope its the 4th. But whats throwing me off is that when games say they are shipping one day its usually avaliable for sale the NEXT day.
