I took the time tonight to show someone who had never played MKDA, the joy of "Konquest" mode. While I was watching my friend struggle through some pretty basic combos, I was just thinking of how extremely juicy the new "Konquest" mode is going to be.

Happy quan chi day. 42 days seems like an eternity. I keep having these dreams where im going to pick up my copy of deception and im all excited, ready to shit my pants and then i wake up, realize i have over a month left to wait and then i slowly perform hari kiri on myself with a spoon.

42 There was a post written awhile back, It has the days counting down and every MK character has a day. I think it is page 44,45. Go back and take a look. Hey wahts up everyone? Why are we talking less and less? I know why because the game is so close. Mt excitment is building again. Why because I called Barnes and Noble today to confirm the strat guide coming out. I hooked up a pre-order over the phone. SWEET, 4 more days and I get my hands on the GUIDE. I came up with a plan also. I was watching bad santa and it just popped into my head. I will get the guide and struggle not to peek at it on the way home. Then every day I will read a new page, That way I don't ruin the game before it comes out. One day one Page, Lord give me the will power. Is it starting to sink into everyones head how close we are. 42 days, thats nothing. We have been counting down now for..... 165 days now. really close to half a year. Crap half of a year I have been meeting all of you and talking and greasing it up. That makes me super happy. As of today we have a month and 1/2 to go. August is flying by as well. And to all of you that hooked up hot shots fore,GOOD JOB. It will ease the pain of the wait. But the second MKD comes out I will toss all the games to the side. We are always talking about what we will do, the day before the game comes out. And that days is getting closer than ever it makes my stomach hurt. NO SLEEP for me.
On another note has everyone read the news from ZEE GERMAN site? Not much news but the stuff they wrote about is good. Alot of confirmed characters and some new info on getting out of a sticky situation. I did not quite understand the part about getting knocked into a WALL or OFF an EDGE or maybe a DEATH TRAP. It sounded like he said the animation for characters getting out or away from the traps, walls, edges, are different. I took it as they try using there special moves to get them out of that bad place they are in. I can see it now. You knock Scorpion off a ledge and he spears you as a last effort move. It hits and you both go sailing to your death. Or it could be used to get out of the water, away from spikes, That idea opened up a big can of worms in my head. The possiablities are endless. Also the many throws per character sounds great, It was mentioned that there will be 4,or 5 moves per character as well. I wanted 6 each but it is cool. Also the word on the street is, EVERY ONE will have AT LEAST 2 fatalities. LEAST as in maybe some will have MORE THAN 2? Things are starting to look up. Now I hope and pray the Guide will be crappy and not tell you every thing. Maybe it will not list the fatalities, or secret stuff. Maybe it won't list everything in Konquest. Time will tell and bullets never lie. Popcorn fart and Tacos. MK247 are you starting school? Ninja are you getting grape jelly for your rye toast? Ice are you getting married? 42 days until MK:D is realeased were so close now i rember days when its was a 100 days until deception now its 42 its still alot of days but hey were getting closer n closer before u now it its going to be October 4.That day im going to EB games get my copy of Mortal Kombat:Deception go home lock my BedRooms door turn on my Ps2 put the game in n im going to injoy Mk:d and about a few weeks later im going to buy the online thing and go online and beat everybody muahahahahahahahahahah ha ha ha ha*yawns*ha ha*falls asleep saying muahaha*.

Well, I'll be off that day and check it out and even if they don't have it then, I'll just buy another manga art book and add that to the rest of my collection.
