DSB is Justin, he knows much about games, as he works for a game store, and also had the experience to visit E3 this year.
I helped him out when he first came here, and stuck up for him when people were flamming him, and since then its kinda like a best friend type deal we have, that each one has each others back. This countdown family is close, as we have been doing this for almost 200 days now. Im sure after he read the remark you gave me when we had some tention he didnt bother to read the rest and backed me up. So dont worry Justin is a peace loving, taco loving, popcorn chicken loving loser!

Oh and we are all aware that it is in stores on the 5th, but the release date that Ed says in all of his interviews is the 4th, so its like wow there is no days left, then you go to sleep and then you have the game. No biggie, there is 30 days left!

lifeless, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The 'official release date' is the day the item goes on sale to the public. Sometimes the 'shipping date' coincides with the 'release date,' but not always.
Also, it is not uncommon for some stores to actually sell the pre-ordered copies as soon as they arrive in-store. So if they get MK:D in on the 3rd, they may call to notify you that it is in and that you can come pick it up whenever you wish. And just to be clear on this, I had pre-ordered MK:DA from two different stores in 2002, and both of them called me a day early to let me know that it was in and that I could go pick it up that day.
So.. this countdown will stay as it is. But who knows? A bunch of us may even get the game a day earlier than some.

30 Thank you for the info. I would never have guessed that most games have a ship date and a street date we get the game. Man all the years of working at game stop and I never knew. Respect of blahhh balah blah you were throwing at my friend MK247. Maybe know one else will stand up for there friends but I will. The date we have is the date we will go by. Most people I have talked to are getting there game on the 4th. Where could we go to get on that date if it is not in the stores till the 5th? Wal-mart they are open 24/7 and I as well as many others have plans on picking it up at night just before Midnight. So it makes the 4th the right date. You do have a good point but just went about telling us the wrong way. I don't want to fight about this.
