This is why I feel Eazy is #1 overall. He plays with any freaking character at a really high level and still dominates. You have to be elite to really hang with him. LOL at your patterns while he is beating you he is still picking up on them and crushing you even more. Depressing and pointless feeling I know

I do understand. Funny really. If i play too much then i get that way..But when i am fresh i takes much more to crush my ego.

don't downplay yourself man. some of those matches were very close. you just gotta keep trying and don't be intimidated. I'm just a guy like anyone else. you CAN defeat someone if you are determined. Indrid is a great example of someone who went from being, quote, "scared" to being determined; that's gotten him to be a lot tougher opponent. one of these days I'll play a full roster with you and you'll find ways to just read harder and pull more wins.

adjustment/adapting is the key as well as knowing not only your opponent's character's abilities and weaknesses, but those of the opponent himself as well.

its amazing because in real life I am not intimidated to fight ANYONE. In MK even guys like Groy who can beat me good. I still feel I can win. But I can tell they need to work for it. With Eazy its like this guy is toying with me. It also feels like as the games go on he gets stronger. however, in the one series that we had that i won a few consecutive matches. I made a commitment to winning and I did better. But seriously, your ability is not about combos (even though you are awsome at that) you are able to read and adjust at a level that is unparalleled....so much so that its frustrating to play you.

losing doesn't mean you're not a competitor. you make me work for those games. It's only frustrating if you're concentrating on achieving what might take longer to accomplish... right now! it's like trying to eat the elephant in front of you- it CAN be done, but only one bite at a time.

... for example- you break it down into smaller steps:

keep me from getting X amount of wins in a row.

don't let me get to 10 without you hitting "X" amount first.

...and so on.

with these goals in mind it will force you to find a way to push your wins through. to see what works and throw out what doesn't. eventually your numbers will continue to get better.

this is what i did against players that would tower over me back in the day.

Thing that I like about eazy is that if he wanted to, he could be an arrogant prick about it...but he's not he knows he's good and one of the best like Jeter for example. Not a show off but a lot envy him, some others on here have a barry bonds like attitude which sucks because nobody like arrogant dicks...

I definitely want another crack at you, problem is I have this mindset that I'll lose before we start and I'm sure that effects my mind a little bit. Only against you for some reason lol, probably because you're like the best on here man.

so what if you think you'll lose? the idea is to play no matter what to find a way to crush me. the reason we've separated so much in scores is because we just don't connect enough.

a great example: Pig. i don't think he'll mind my saying this...

for a good while there he was not getting past the "5" mark on our scores (10-4, 10-5, 10-3, etc), but he's been connecting with me a lot since then and he's gotten up to 7, 8, and 9 now. it's only a matter of time. Burnin oni was the same thing- had he just played me a couple more times he probably would've won a series as he had already beaten every other serious player; it looks like I was the only one that survived his hit list

mkf, keep playing and you'll figure out what strategies to apply where and see your score improve. don't worry about losses. I remember playing G_Roy back in mkd days when he would have double scores over me but i would keep hitting "yes" even though he wanted to leave- then after he would leave i would rudely manually connect to his game again to keep going even though i kept losing. it's the only way to improve.
and btw, yes that was me inviting you. next time when you see me, even if i'm playing- just host a match and invite. if you don't want others to join or challenge- host with the "friends only" condition while "showing offline" to not allow manual joining from other players on the friends list. that's how you can pretty much guarantee getting connected to the one you want to play right away, with no interruptions.

Yeah man it's all good, yeah I'm just saying that yeah everyones confidence level effects your game also. In MKD as I'm sure you remember *giggles* I did very well against you on all the time on the me account and MKF, IMO you improved a lot in MKA. You're a lot more tough, you like the jumping game I see which is good I use that all the time in the classics, MK2, UMK3 etc.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll do better if I try harder but yeah..you learn from your loses like you said. I think that's what I did in MKD, when I lost I came back even harder, tougher and rarely lost after that.

In MKA, it's a little different because of the 33, ac players as oppose to the 50/50 ground players example.

Myself, pig and alex are ground players, 50/50 where you, red and mesofly are 33, ac players.


Different players have different tactics to adapt to, IMO more then MKD since that game was so grounded lol. But yeah I see what you're saying man, I'll be on during this week. I haven't been on the past few nights cause I was out with my buds. Later man.

actually, that's another mindset that will hurt a player. don't limit yourself to 'this' class or 'that' class. pig is as strong as he is because he adapts quickly and uses all the resources when he knows his opponent will fall for it, including consuming their breakers and using ac.

be an 'everything' player so you know how to adapt. otherwise your limitation will just turn you off because you won't know how to defend and/or retaliate.

a great example is ME actually from mkd days. i limited myself to no free throws, no otgs, and no high tier exploits (ie I'd use dairou but no tombstone, bo with no ft's or otgs' etc.) hence why i was so turned off when i would play someone who would use them, because my own limited mindset would just turn me off and i didn't even want to play them. because i limited myself, i didn't defend and retaliate well and lost to a lot of players, including you- do you see what i'm saying?

that's why i never did well against free throwers, 'otg'ers, and high tier advantage, where alex and groy for example, did very well either way cause they mastered both worlds.

anyway, nice games. against you a great defense is the ONLY offense- this i noticed whenever i would switch gears trying different things. nice noob- i just couldn't get in there against him. i repeated hotaru because of the glitchy lag that match with sheeva. i kept trying to throw to fix it but no luck.

I didnt do bad for not having played in a while. I played a few people from the server but most of them are absolute trash that quit mid match.

First few matches with Chameleon fine, I have no problem with those. The next few, not the same case.

I'm not sure what you saw but on my screen, that first Kabal match I hit you 3 times with 50/50's and yet it went right thru you..then you were able to hit me in return and that was the match. All I needed was one more hit and that would have been that but some how I'm not sure how, my moves went thru you...I'm referring to the Kabal/Hotaru matches. You were also far away from me one second, then next to me another lol. Like everyone at some point, this game annoys me online at times. I rarely get annoyed or pissed but after that one match I wasn't too happy about it : (

Don't get me wrong man, I like you and all it's nothing personaly but I did feel that match I was robbed *chuckles* The lag sucked balls that one match, the one after was better but I noticed something else odd lol. You threw me when I was in mid dash with Kabal I was like WTF? Not the time you blocked and countered which you did a few times, that was my own mistake. This was a separate time in that second match. It was some weird shit man lol. I never seen that before, I dashed you and you weren't blocking you were doing a move and somehow you didn't get spun off the trade hits factor. In fact you threw me while I was in mid dash so I was like umm? how is that possible lol

The last time we connected much better IMO, this time I thought it was shitty personally. Man I really wish I could play you offline or on a more equal connection, not to sound like red or anything but honestly I saw things that just aren't possible. Also, yo dude do you know that your tag has like 1070+ wins on it? I'm sure others have told you that lol before. In MKA they replenish the ranks(unlike MKD) every month, but your numbers never change. I just wanted to let you know. Did something happen with your tag man?

P.S. for the MKD, I was also one of those players who could play the game without FT's initially. I remember getting bashed for saying so at first. Saying FT's are lame, play without them then I came to the understanding that it's legit and most use it. I don't know if you remember I went on this rant one day about it telling people to just leave you alone if you want to play without or with them, that's your choice. I felt the same way about me and alex, but later on we accepted it that you had to use them. Everyone just about did it, alex, groy , garra etc everyone.

However, I didn't feel the same about OTG's like you said with Bo for example...can you say easy win? lol I wanted a challenge. My N/S in that game was all 50/50 mind games, Dairou was TS into combo and turtling and Ermac/Kabal was baiting into combos 50/50's and sometimes FT's. If you notice which I'm sure you do, the peeps that try the MKD bo tactics get owned in this game because Bo is one big parry waiting to happen with that stick of his.... dairou as you know is well toned down with the slower TS so neither of them are the beasts they were in MKD.

Well, as for MKA ehh I guess I have to try better next time but I am slowly losing interest in the game though with the wii and 360 on my mind I have other MK's on my mind hehe. Well, later man. If you play older MK's like UMK3 or MK2 etc let me know this way in the future we can get some matches via 360.

I'm sure with your calibur you can adapt to any MK game, unlike some that can only play the broken MK's.

yeah, those kabal/hotaru matches were quite weird. that's why i went for the rematch too. all sorts of crazy stuff on my screen. as far as 33's and ac's go- i don't use them on you for the same reason really, it's hard to get anything going in the air against you- regular air combos or just regular juggles don't land. so i stick to, like you said, baiting and mind games.

anyway, ggs and we'll just have to keep connecting until we get a better connection.
