Well its true most died, but I assume there will be survivors for sure. I know you can't kill Shinnok, Raiden, Scorpion, of Subzero. Sonya will be likely to make it too.

Haha, yes, MK does have a severe resurrection problem. I always found it amusing (or sad?) that a game that is so heavily focused on fights to the death give absolutely no meaning to death.

However there had to have been survivors after Armageddon. Scorpion and Sub Zero are pretty much 100% confirmed anyway so there's two. Even though I don't like the idea at all (I want everything to be new, especially the characters) I'm sure some will be back.

but you cant kill off the characters who made mortal kombat where it is today... well its not the best fighting game, but the main characters who were in the first mortal kombat should always be in it.

Well, we all know one thing. Sub-Zero and Scorpion seem to be Immortal no matter what.
So they will bring them back.
But everyone else will be gone. HOPEFULLY!

I care more about gameplay than story

Story is ok but gameplay is what keeps you coming for more.

gameplay and story go hand in hand for me....im too old now with alot of responsibilities (career) to be sitting around playing just any fun game. mk is much deeper to me than just gameplay. its everything..the characters the story and just beating the shit out of people..the sound of theiir moans and groans the blood...hopefully the gameplay is much better than it has been lately...i want the game play to be more challenging...so that way not just anyone can pick up the controller and play you know..martial arts is much harder than mk makes it seem ....mk is the only game i play to this day when i get chance....besides grand turismo 5 when it comes out...

If they're going to leave out all of the previous characters... the game shouldn't even be called MK... it should just be a new fighting game...
