Hey uurbody. I know its nuts to talk about this cause if it does happen it will be years from now. But after were all satisfied by ,the awsomeness that is mk2011 would u like to see a sequel to dcu.

i know this has been talked about befor but im lookin at it from a slightly differnet angle. This will be a returen to 2d, so for the next game netherrealm studios could go for a differnet thing. More of a super hero game figher. More test your might, more minifihgts things and in 3d. I dont suggest competing with marvel vs capcom but sommthing completly differnet (should have air comabt to)

But what im getting at is the only way a sequel would work, is if we embrace the chessey super hero side and make mk seconday ( i know this sounds like mk blasphemy but we should be happy after mk 20(11) like take the most super hero esq charaters in mk (raidnen, funki, rain, the list goes on) and just like SUPER HERO CHEESE the shit out of it. Kinda hard t explain but i think it could work. I think afer mk 2011 netherrealm studios is gnna get some recognition and is gonna make some "alternative games"

... o btw if your gonna say i never wanna see another dcu forum then in the most polite way ... please fuck off

After playing MKvsDC a lot I can safely say I don't want to see it again. The clean cut super heroes just don't work well with the brutal and grotesque mortal kombat fighters. Could you see Superman doing an x-ray move? Hell no. It would be completely out of his character to damage anybody that badly. MKvsDC also showed us how lame fatalities are under a T rating. To me Mortal Kombat should have been crossed with Street Fighter or Killer Instinct. DC should have been crossed with Marvel. Maybe if the MK team worked on a fresh fighting game that had little to do with Mortal Kombat's engine and it was Marvel vs DC then I would be down. But after seeing the final product and seeing MK2011 I don't think it is possible for it to work well.

Oh and fuck all of the flaming spammers who keep saying fuck DC and crossovers, and fuck MKvsDC. If you hate the game then you should leave a constructive response as to why or else your just a douche who mindlessly follows one side of the fanbase.

Aslo MKvsDC wasn't that bad of a game. If you would just play it. The combat in the game is better than the gameplay of MKA, and about on par with MKD.

I for one love crossovers so (even though I haven't played MKvsDC yet) I think they should try again.... improve upon it like their doing with MK2011.

I kinda wonder if the rating would have been higher if the crossover was with Marvel though....

Why the Hell do MK fans have to get fucked over?

As ok as MKvsDC was, I see/saw no reason in downgrading MK to a Teen game. MK1 for the snes sold poorly in comparison to other console ports because of the lack of blood, even with the better gameplay and sound.

I'm sorry, but if they're going to make any more crossovers, then make them with M rated games. Or, make SF, DC and Marvel rise to the blood and gore equation (which I see improbable).

I think the best way to go with this would be to cut out the MK element of the game altogether and simply have a fighting game, using the MK 2011 engine, but with only DC characters. MK vs DC was an interesting experiment. But ultimately I think I failed to satisfy both hardcore MK and hardcore DC fans.
Still I defintely got a kick out of being superman, green lantern, etc and with DC bringing both to the big screen in the next year or so, a new game featuring them as well as some lesser known DC characters would be a great idea I think

I actually wouldn't mind a sequel. (Many years from now). However, I wouldn't want blood and gore. It just doesn't work.

Instead it should be like MvC3. Instead of fatalities, blood, gore, darkness, and grit. Have a flashy comic book style with crazy elaborate Hyper combos.

Superman could go through his whole line up of powers.

Aquaman could summon a stampede of sea creatures.

Batman could summon the Batmoblie or Batwing.

Green Lantern could summon Ion or the corps.

Scorpion could suck the opponent down tot he nether realm and beat the crap out of them.

I think if they put more of DC and capcom mentality behind it, it could be awesome.
