But if Quan-Chi is dead then they don't have good purpose really. I want Midway to keep the new characters that theyy put in their games. I swear in MK4 there were about 7 new characters and they only used 1, Quan-Chi, for MK5.

For a start the afore mentioned are true about Raptile, Sub Zero and Scorpion.

Sonya blade and Jax bth will need to comeback as should cyrax and sektor. I remeber people asking the question of who now runs the lin kuei, smoke or sektor could come back to try to claim the position.

Theres no good unloackables all of those are pointless. REIKO I agree with he shoudl've been back in MK:DA.

OK, let's calm down here and think. Why would take out Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
1) They are the heart of MK as a fellow member posted.
2) They have the best storyline.
3) It wouldn't be MK without them. Think of Street Fighter, without Ryu or Ken, the game is shit.

Ok, a how and why would we accept Nightwolf. His storyline was pointless! He had no point in it whatsoever. He was just out protecting his magical island, but shit, even I would do that (if, I was capable of fighting in reality, hehe)!

Sektor should return, he interwines with Sub-Zero. Scorpion will return for Quan Chi, or Scorpion will turn his wrath upon the person who killed Quan. So really, this is a pointless thread my friend. This will only start a flame war.

Perfect character list? That's not too hard. Keep in mind, some characters have been rammed into the ground and others were horribly overlooked in their time, so don't be surprised if some characters don't make it on my list. Scorpion needs to wait out a game and make room for some characters that never really got their spotlight. Reptile is the exception, because he's changed throughout each game. I can't imagine that happening to Scorpion.

Subzero: The only character from the series I can really consider definitive. Also, despite what many people would like to think, most polls I've seen in both the net and my local area display him as the fan favorite.

Smoke: So much potential, for both story and character design. If they revived his Human form, he could truly own. I didn't write a novel-length fanfic on him because I was bored.

Kung Lao: Very interesting character to play with. He basically represents the more arcane martial arts side of mortal kombat(excluding ninjas).

Raiden: He may not be the main character, but he's definitely a corner stone of the plot. He's also one of the more player-friendly characters to use, IMO.

Kenshi: Easily the coolest knew character from the last game. I still believe Boon struck gold with this guy.

Sareena: I was disappointed that when they finally made her playable, she was on the gameboy advance version. I always liked her from mythologies.

Reptile: Now that he's no longer a palatte swap, we can keep him in the game. Reptile has always been the legend behind the series, and unlike Scorpion, I don't think he's over-stayed his visit... yet.

Li Mei: Just another female fighter that happens to be cooler than Sonya and Mileena.

Kabal: Why they EVER got rid of him is beyond me. He was the shinning light in the third installment. Cool design, fun to use, good stratagies, and great story.

Nitara: I can't believe I forgot about her. Sweet looking character, and she helps balance out the gender perecentage of the characters.

Kitana: Out of the female ninjas, she had the most depth and playability. Also, it would seem very awkward it they took her out of the game.

Fujin: I know that I may stand alone on this one, but Fujin was a fucking sweet character. Every aspect of him screams out "mk god" and I've had many hours of fun using him.

Cyrax: One robot couldn't hurt, but I think two would ruin the balance which hurt mk3 so badly.

Jade: I'd want her back, but ONLY if she isn't a ninja. We have enough of those already. Give her a unique appearance and keep most of her moves and she'll be nicely welcomed.

mister_satan666 is refering to the younger Sub-Zero we all know and love; the one in MK1 was his older brother. They might have the same name and similar story, but they're still different characters.
