I dont think bosses frum preivious games will return they always hav new ones to tie wit the story so i doubt ppl lik motaro and kintaro n goro will be bak maybe shao kahn mite be bak or a sub boss frum mk4 mite be playable

but they said in a news post that there will be a new boss and new sub bosses maybe not new characters but never be4 character bosses and they said they will be playable

I think Shao Kahn, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung will be back as playable characters. Maybe you can unlock them, if they're not on the select screen.
