Damn, glad to see you're alive, Mav. I hear you about the mods. I agree with the observation. And you're spot on with the status of this site, too. Those two things go hand-in-hand if you ask me. Seems like Bone is even recruiting PS2 guys to come to MKAC, and few have already come.

Omerta's right; Pig got banned. I didn't know MKF got banned, is that right, Omerta? I asked a mod in a PM but still haven't gotten an answer.

Anyway, I'm not playing much of MKA anymore either unless somebody asks me to. I just got an Xbox 360 so I have some catching up to do. So far, not disappointing.

Don't know how much your interested in the boards anymore, but let us know if you're at all interested in posting at MKAC. I (and others, I'm sure) would be willing to help out if you want. If not, I understand.

There have been ALOT of questionable calls around here. It seems as if someone (i wont mention names) has a grudge against certain peeps and even the community as a whole. If i didnt know any better i would think that this very forum is being sabotaged.

It is so bad that there is a part of me that thinks that maybe JTF is a mod on this board and is trying to bring it down. lol...anyway, I dont think I am going to be here long. You see the problem with this forum is not the mods. WE are the problem. We get too damn carried away with shitty feuds. I think Omerta posted something in response to Chaos in one of other threads earlier which somewhat reverberated this point I'm made.

Here's what started it
JTF has done a brilliant job in fueling the drama and has been amazingly effective. Look at the time-line - MKF became enemy no. 1 the moment he left MKAC and that coincides with the hate campaign launched again him from the site and that pretty much poisoned the minds of anyone who cared enough to read JTF's stuff. Whether it's the videos he made to defame people or shitty futile threads opened to further talk about MKF who actually was no longer on the site. And MKF not being a strong character succumbed to all those tricks.
The more he responded the more people started ganging up one him. His only legitimate feud was with G_Roy because they go way back but the others pretty much joined the bandwagon through word of mouth rather than independently making their choices. JTF tried the same shit with you and I (and also pretty much everyone on PAL PS2) but I would say we dealt with it better than MKF did by not letting him get to us. So a combination of JTF's brilliance in manipulating folks and MKF's weakness to ignore are perfect recipe for this situation.
Do you guys ever ask yourselves why this guy that's not even on XBOX has become so obsessed with XBL players and why he comes to MKO everyday to keep an eye on what's going on? Why so much interest?

On Pig's ban
I love talking to Pig here and on XBL. He's one of the easier going free-spirited guys who knows how to take a joke and also dish it out. Pig is straight! But I think he took the whole MKF thing to another level that wasn't really necessary. I hope he can see and admit to that. Half of the exchanges between the two of them were somewhat crazy and unnecessary. While MKF is guilty, I wouldn't say he purposefully goes after anyone. I think he spent half of the time defending himself, which again was unnecessary and I told him that several times and sometimes he goes on a personal level like exchanges with G_Roy and the whole thing about Pig's career.

You see, it's always easy to blame mods like GD. But I don't think he's been unfair in any shape or form. Well, I understand some of his judgments are being questioned but I don't think he has a personal motive or vendetta against anyone here. I think we're are our own enemy and he's simply just trying his hardest to keep the place together. We may not appreciate that but a level of control and regulation he has exerted to keep things in check, particularly on XBOX forum, can not be understated.

@ Trax, although very well said I might disagree with you on a few things but a lot of your points are valid ones. I do believe though that if you get banned once or twice or + that on MKO, there's a good reason for it.

You're right, I shouldn't let dumb, false, trivial shit get to me but you know what, now I know that so as I told GD, if anyone wishes to take shots at me. Let them, I'll just do my own thing on here and have fun with my friends, contribute to MKO and play MK. I'm not going to take any bait that's going to get me banned nor be influenced by a lunatic from another site(JTF)....I have way too many important good threads on here on other forums. Chances are if someone here hates me it's for ridiculous reasons anyway which I learned a while ago. On the JTF front Trax, yeah I very much agree with you on the fact that his "influence" has had a strong on on certain individuals on his site that may or may not be on here. At least we know that's one thing in common that a few different people share on the JTF front. You and I refused to be his little "pawns"...

@Trax...i think you give JTF too much credit. I was by far a bigger enemy to him than MKF. When MKF was banned from his garbage site nobody barely noticed or cared. The traffic over here was almost what it is now. However, (and I am tooting my own horn) when I was banned JTF started a huge lying campaign against me. It backfired because I was able to bring lots of peeps over here. I even helped to get peeps unbanned here from behind the scenes. The total death of this site occurred with 2 things. Banning me and Halo 3. btw...I dont blame Crow for the banning. As far as MKF goes, he didnt need JTF's help to make him hated that was ALL on his own.

Lets face it. You eithe were a friend of mine and posted with me or you were an enemy and posted. Few fell in the middle. either way it meant more traffic for the site.

Now Pig is banned. I wonder what genius did that? I smell a saboteur

I'm a big boy and I make up my own mind. MKF is a douchebag. I was banned from MKO, and when Mav got banned from MKAC, I came back here to check on him. While doing that, MKF started a drill that was indirectly going straight into my brain.

His incessant, ill-founded comments began to wear on me. Eventually, I couldn't stand listening to the garbage coming from his posts. The more I read, the more I understood his back-pedaling, contradictions, and ultimately his lies. It was ridiculous.

And once he was called out on it, we all saw what happened. He never had any substance to defend himself. He could only claim that we were out to get him for no good reason and that he was a victim. The only other thing he could say was that we were all just "jumping on the bandwagon" against him or that JTF made us hate him. Much like you're doing Trax.

And I will say this (and I'll just speak for myself although I'd think others feel like me)...

When you tell me that I don't feel the way I say I do or that I'm not making my own decisions; it's insulting. To say that JTF manipulated me and that's why I don't like MKF is presumptuous and incorrect. Nobody manipulated me, nobody influenced me. I READ MKF POSTS and I FORMED MY OWN OPINION about those posts.

If Omerta, G_Roy, or anyone else disagreed with me on this, it wouldn't affect me. I don't care about "joining the crowd". MKF's posts piss ME off. I decided that. I can't control what others think and it doesn't affect me. If others agree with me, or disagree with MKF; it doesn't automatically mean we're conspiring together OR trying to fit in with each other.

Maybe, just maybe, it means that what we all say... happens. And what we've each experienced... we've all experienced the same. Maybe it's not US.

Anyways, Chaos nailed it pretty well. Just because there are several people that share the same opinion about MKF and what he says does not mean that there is some abstract force at work. There is no great influence, no peer pressure to fit in, and definitely no persuasive mastermind behind this whole thing... It is the simple fact that one person is so blatantly ignorant and WRONG that ALL of these people can not help but feel the same way about him.

In all honesty, I responded to or about MKF much, much less for the sole reason that there were so many people involved. (For some reason he very rarely responded back to ME during all this) Alright, I'm hungover and I'm going to stop now. We'll see where this goes, looks like I might be prompted to get up on my soapbox.

Don't get me wrong fellas, I hated long posts by MKF (and oh yeah the long quotes and those ()). But that's not enough to hate the guy. He has his point of view on issues and I and many others have theirs. That shouldn't incite lack of respect. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is this; I don't think there's a reason to feel such high level of animosity toward one person. Same reason why Omerta stated that he ignored some of MKF's post because many were already involved and that's what many of us should have done but instead it became a gang war against one man.

We've had many controversial characters here and that's what used to make this place fun. I remember Killer B's time here, Maverick (of course) and then we had a time when Red was misunderstood. But the shit with the past is that people still maintained some level of respect and understood this is only a forum and there's no need over dramatizing shit.

I do, however, hope Pig's ban is temporary though because Pig is cool regardless of what's happened.

My whole point is that I have a problem with MKF because of MKF. I don't pay enough attention to other people's beefs to get worked up over it. So I'm just making it clear that JTF, Admin, G_Roy, Omerta, RedSaleen, my mother, or you have NOTHING to do with ME not liking MKF.

I think that I have a unique perspective because I am the only person to have feuded with MKF and feuded with JTF. I think I am also the only person to have been on the same side (for lack of a better word) with JTF and MKF. That beign said....here is the great irony.

The difference between these guys is almost 0. They both want people to love them and think they are awsome to the point that they will both hide and lie so as not to show.....their imperfections (this is being nice). The biggest difference is that JTF has his own site.

If MKF somehow developed a 3rd site under a new name it would be MKAC all over again. I think he would act the same way as JTF. If JTF/admin were a user over here he would seem no different than MKF. He would lie, hide, be condescending and just be flat out shady.

Now that I think of it .... maybe JTF and MKF are the same dude...lol.
The one thing that is different between the 2 is this...Occasionally, I will start to think that MKF has changed...he never has...better every now and then I think he is turning over a new leaf...JTF is pretty consistently an asshole. Its hard to say which style I respect more

Anyway...I dont think that JTF made peeps think MKF was a douche nor do I think MKF has made those who despise JTF hate him. I think both of them have been very effective at earning their own e-reputation.
