The Question is... WHAT ARE BARAKA/MILEENA DOING IN QUAN CHI'S PALACE?!

Baraka already has an established connection with Quan Chi so why not? Mileena was sent by Shao Kahn to eliminate the traitor Baraka for siding with Shao Kahn's killer.

I just think that Baraka was put back to life by Quan Chi, but now he is under Quan Chi's control, like a Puppet, that's why he's fighting Mileena cause he's not the same Baraka he was before.

Baraka never died last I checked. His MKGOLD ending never happened.

Remember the first Render we had, he was looking kinda ''living dead'' if you know what I mean.

Those aren't spiders, they're beetles. Spiders are arachnids and have 8 legs. Those creatures have only 6, suggesting that they are insects. Im not bug expert, but im fairly certain that beetles have a hell of alot more than 6 legs...some of them anyway, but still...those definitely aren't spiders. And it really doesn't look anything like Quan Chi's fortress either.

I spotted that a few days ago but i then saw the 6 legs on the level in MKD so i didn't bother to say anything

That stage DOES have something to do qith Quan Chi. So says my source anyways. As far as the whole Baraka thing goes, I believe he's teamed up with Quan and his wife, Mileena has decieved him by going with an opposing force. Possibly they offered her some sort of "Kitana" like powers, such as ruler of Edenia or a normal face if she took out Quan. To do so she'd have to go through Baraka. Heh, just a little something a heard from a bird.

Cool, this sounds that certain Emperor who hates the sorcerers, will wage his own war to the Dragon King... what would mean that Quan Chi and Baraka would be allied with the Dragon King.

Definitely Shao Kahn put Mileena up to this.

Come on man, just give us a little nod, a sign, something to show if Kahn is indeed in the game... if he is, this will indeed be my favorite MK and its not even out yet.

Mabey the "spider" stage has something to do with Quan Chi. It could fit the theme of his character and could go with his story.

If Quan Chi was a main threat in the last game, mabey he is still being tracked down by more than one person. Quan Chi could have abandoned his fortress and set up in a new area.
