Not until Tuesday, I am looking forward to playing campaign mode and beating it. I really like the FPS campaign and even co-op mode. I wont really be playing it online though, I can't get into it like that.

Definitely with you on that Quest. I never got into HALO 2 online mode either but I loved the campaign. Also when friends would come around, that used to be the bomb!

Well I'm picking up my copy of Halo 3 tomorrow after I get off work so you'll probably see me on that most of the time if I play MKA it will most likely be on the PS2 server because the X-box server has always been inactive for that game for the most part. I'll play by appointment if people want to get matches in just pm me, yes that includes MKF (he probably won't do it anyways) but yes anyone who wants to get matches in just send me a pm.

Halo 3, the game my friend won't shut up about....

Personally, am I the only one here that thinks this game is a bit overrated?

I don't have a 360 but even if I did I wouldn't play it, have no interest.

I was playing Halo 2 the other night online with my friends, man so many trash talkers damn...

The only thing I like about the game is that you can hang with your friends at once online.

Yeah, pig I hear ya dude lol. Halo 3 really doesn't have THAT much new stuff if you think about it as you said, probably spend like 15 minutes before getting bored.

I played the beta way back, wasn't that impressed.

See!!! I told you there's nothing new about Halo 3. Oh but don't listen to the PS2 guy cuz he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Killzone 2 > Halo 3

Finished the halo 3 campaign, easily the best storyline of any FPS ever. The trilogy is one of the best damn stories told. Gameplay is average but the new maps are kick ass. The new weapons and defensive deploys are great. Easily Better than the first two installments, and remember i thought they were overrated. But halo 3 is kickass!

Well, I think Halo 3 will probably be better then Killzone I have to play both and compare but personally, I like playing a game before juding it. If the Halo 3 game is actually anything like the Beta I'll shrug my shoulders...

Killzone 2 ehh, you know if it's good it's good, I just don't like any PS3 games personally from what I've seen.

doohoo's point on halo having the best story, in an FPS I'd probably agree as far as seriousness and such.

I do love the Quake series though, those stories are pretty good and dark that's one shooter that gets very overlooked but I don't care what anyone says Quake 4 owned!

Well MKF I see you've once again for like the 10th or more time, totally ignored my challenge which constitutes as ignoring my truce to you for resolving this feud. To be honest I don't care whether or not we play or not but just answer me this if you don't want to play why don't you just say so? Instead of just completely acting like you can't read a post just say a simple yes or no answer. Are you going to play or not? If you don't want to play all you have to do is say you don't but instead you ignore my points completely and act like I never issued a challenged to you. Well if you are trying to play me and end this feud add GROY NYC to your friend list so we could get matches in.

Gotta tell ya, I don't care much at all about FPS stories. Actually for that matter I have no idea what stories are going on in any MK game I've ever played. I'm all about gameplay. Only stories I care about are your metroids, mario, final fantasy type games but not a FPS. It's all about point and click.


Oh and does anyone know if a MOUSE exists to play halo 3 with? I used to be the bomb at FPS until the popularity went from PC to consoles. I can't stand playing FPS without a mouse.

You're like my friend. I convinced him to get a 360 in place of his PC platform which needed a new graphics card every 18months. Guess what? Dude sold his 360 after only 2months. What a punk?!

On story lines, I like HALO story line but gameplay is still the most important thing to me. As a matter of fact, fuk story lines!!! Gameplay is what sells, not story telling. I'm picking up my HALO 3 copy tomorrow so i better be damn good!

On console v PC conversation: You guys know HALO 3 is going to be released on PC soon, right?! You can then use Windows Live to crossover to play on XBL. Just like Bio Shock.

I'm with you all the way on that, Pig. That's probably one of the big reasons I don't really get into FPS anymore. I used to love Doom, Duke Nukem, Blood, Quake, Half-Life and others on the PC. When FPS started transferring to consoles, my coordination didn't go with it.

I remember the first time I played a FPS on a console. I think it was Halo, and I couldn't aim for shit. I can get used to it after a while, but it's still never as accurate as a mouse.
