The uses of Telekinesis
So Ermac and Kenshi have both used telekinesis in the game. Imagine for MKD, their telekinetic powers were enhanced. Here are some things Id like to see!
Telekinetic Parrying:
Basically, you go to attack. Your about to hit them with a sword and they use their power to throw your attacking arm or arms away from them leaving you vulnerable to attack. I think this would be great to see. Ermac would use this and Kenshi probably wouldnt, as his powers are not advanced enough. If somehow a special version of this was added you could use it to know the weapon out of your opponents hand when parrying.
Projectile deflection:
Ive mentioned this idea before, but Ill mention it again with a twist. Before, they would use telekinesis to send the projectile back at you. This time, Id prefer it if it were deflected into the surroundings.
Weapon retrithisthingisdisabled/disarming:
Remember Quans weapon steal move on MK4? Kenshi and Ermac should have this ability but it should cost them a little health to use. They can also pick up weapons using their power too.
Also, there are many other possibilities beyond the Tele-slam and the other moves that Kenshi has. Most of them would be more like super moves.
Your thoughts and ideas?

A good idea, as long as they don't get over powered. Ex stealing the Level Weapon at the begining of the match would give them to much of an edge, but if used colorfully and creativly would be nice, it would give the game a lot more diversity in that department.

Great ideas Tgrant. That would just be taking full advantage of those abilities, and would love to see those implemented in this game.A Tele parry and or counter would be outstanding IMO.This is actually the first idea that I have to agree would make this game even better.
Simply Amazing tgrant. I too think that the use of Telekinetic powers should be widened to include moves such as these...And it's not far fetched because With that kind of a power all of these things would be possible. However I think that Weapon steal/retreival should be limited to only the stage weapons. ie..If Mileena picks up a war hammer as a stage weapon Ermac or Kenshi could steal this from her and use it themselves. I say this simply because if it were allowed for the other warriors specific weapons then they would have to add it so that Kenshi and Ermac could use EVERY weapon in the game and I just don't think they'd do that. However since the stage weapons have they're own style which every character can use anyway, it makes more sense for them.
I also agree that as far as the TK parrying goes, this should be soley for Ermac to use as it would take a great deal of concentration and precision to be able to do so...Naturally his is more advanced then Kenshi in TK so he has the experience and power necessary to do so.
Great thread Tgrant! Keep em coming.

Oh I forgot to comment on the Projectile deflection.
I think both should be in, depending on which button combo you use you have the option to either deflect it away into the background or redirect it back at the opponent.

I'm glad you liked the idea. I wouldn't want these abilities to become overly cheap. Some would have a handicap like the weapon retrithisthingisdisabled. It could be done at the cost of some of your health. The same would go for stealing it.

What would be cool is to have it were they could
control the other person an have them beat there self up.Which that would be way cool.Long Live Johnny Cage.

Thanks alot TomTaz.
I guess both those abilities could be in, but I think one would have to be quicker to do than the oter to prevent abusal. I think the redirecting move would be slower. The deflect would be a quick, last minute attack if the projectile is close.
I agree that the weapon retrithisthingisdisabled and steal could be just for the arena specific weapons, however as I mentioned before, you could have health taken off you in order to use these.
Great ideas Tgrant! I have to say Im kind a dissapointed with Ermacs green glow....its too much like Shang Tsung and Kenshi IMO.
I actually loved that Quan Chi move from MK4, the weapon steal, but I think its best if they leave it out.
You see, stealing the weapon was fun and really not too much of a deal back in mk4, but I dont think its cool that Kenshi or Ermac were able to do this after all the blood and effort you did to get the stage weapon.
Maybe if it was done nicely and fair, I guess it could work. Maybe they can use that move one time per round, and if they fail, they cant use it again till the round is over.
Or maybe there can be some competition. Like 2 test your might mini bars will pop and whoever does the best will decide who looses or keeps the weapon.

Interesting idea Queve, although it would become a little tedious having to do a strenth test to gain the weapon. I like the idea though and thanks for liking mine.

Well now we definitely know that Ermac has his telekentic slam back in MKD.

I like the ideas. But I must say that I agree if a weapon steal is done it should only work on stage weapons. Using this ability to pickup stage weapons would be cool too. But only if it is already broken out of its container. Would be a cool trick to steal the weapon out from the person's nose who just sent you through the conatiner to get. haha
And an idea I'd like to add for the deflection move, maybe it should be random weather or not it reflects the projectile or deflects back at the opponent. Because just wacking the projectile off into the side isn't really all that useful. It'd be much easier just to dodge or block it that no one would really bother using that one. They'd go for the deflection if anything. So I think making it do either one randomly would be cool. 50% chance of deflection sounds good too me.
Man I am begining to wish you worked for them at times. haha

I like the 50% chance of the projectile reverse or deflecton. That could actually prove to be better. However it is flawed a little when it comes to the com using it.
Again, I agree about the weapon steal being used only on stage weapons and thanks for the kind words. I wish I worked for them too.
ultimateryu - Thanks for the pic.

And it sucks so much how it looks like Kenshi's. I hope they are different.

I dont like this idea. If that happens, it will leave both characters out of death trap dangers. No fun.
But I did like the other part and the way you explained it. Though it sounds like a good idea, it could be wrong. Juts me though.
