Theory on how to beat the DK...

I posted this in another thread, but I doubt everyone will get to see it there.


I'm starting to wonder if the only person you can TRULY BEAT the dragon king with is Shujinko.
He says it is his up to him in the movie, and maybe in Konquest you gain the tools(Certain Moves, Fighting Styles, Weapons, etc..) to defeat him completely.

I'm not saying that there is noone else who could beat him in a match, just that Shujinko may be the only one who can finish him off....hmmm???

Or maybe projectiles are useless on him like they were with Motaro.

Probably need to kick the shit outta him and use proper weapons.

this could be very true but if it is then everyone's ending will result in them dieing or being tricked into thinking they won...there would have to be something that shujinko knew about onaga to know how to destroy him..maybe the amulet? im sure that has a link to this entire puzzle...maybe it is that he was unable to fulfill the task that the elder gods gave him maybe to stop the DA from reviving the entire army...all that i know is that this is gonna rock!

I must not have seen your post.

And the more I learn about this game, the more
I think it is the truth.

Other characters can beat him round for round, but either get taken down in their ending or Shujinko shows up to save them and destroy the dragon king, OR...
if your Shujinko, you destroy him.

I guess with the news of Shujinko being an uber-fighter, my theory seems more and more likely.
