This is just plain stupid. See, I never beleived that MK could be a crossover a game in the WAY beginning, but then after seeing the trailer, I thought to myself, "Hey, maybe this game may not be bad, in fact, this game could be hilarious and cool." But after reading all these threads about how you people are whining becuase MK is finally doing something different, we're all judging the book by its cover and crying that they'll never buy it when IN FACT they will buy the game.
I know peer pressure is playing here, but seriously, you're going to cry over the fact that MK has change. We all wanted "change" after Armageddon and here we go.
And I understand that you guys don't like the fact that it is a crossover, but why are we already jumping conclusions by talking about MK9? MK8 hasn't even been out yet and you're talking about a game that's not in the process of being created yet!!!
So can we actually stop whining about a game that's not even out yet? Can we stop asking if this game is actually for real? DC wouldn't allow Midway to take their copyrighted material and post false advertisements on two different site... well, one site because Noob.com isn't really showing anything. But still, get use to it, you guys are all acting like its the end of the world because of a little change. Change is happening all around us and we have to get use to it. Unless you live where I live, somewhere in Chicago, and go up to their headquarters in the city and protest, stop the bitching already and just get use to it.
I had to make this statement because I just can't believe that you guys are all reacting like children who gets their candy taken away from them. I understand you don't like change in life, but eh... life isn't fair.
If this gets closed for any reason that's all right, but I just thought this should be stated somewhere in the 999999999 threads about the same ol thing over and over again.
CHEERS!

Exactly we wanted change and its good that we've got one it may prove bad but it could be a blessing in disguise
I understand the point you're trying to make. I agree that many people here seem to get just a wee bit dramatic because they don't like the direction the series is moving in, but that's the nature of a purist. That's what they do. There are people out there in this world that will disembowel themselves with a plastic spork if Ian McKellan doesn't reprise his role as Gandalf in the upcoming Hobbit film.
But let's look at the flip side of the coin for a moment. This is a major, substantial change. Arguably it's the biggest change the series has ever seen, and people are apprehensive and nervous about it. I know I am. I simply cannot fathom a non-Mature rated MK title. It's sort of like finding out that your favorite steakhouse has suddenly decided to go vegan. It's a shock.
But I agree that people need to calm down, and make a rational. objective judgement when the game is released, and they have spent a few minutes actually playing it.

Ha, Ha good point man. BTW, rest assured Ian will be back, from what I've read being a big LOTR fan it's looking good
But yeah man, couldn't have said it any better myself. People NEED to keep an openmind and the past 4 days on here I've seen the complete opposite sadly...I'm honestly more disappointed in some MK fans as oppose to MK8 at this point for judging a book by it's cover...
I don't think people are whining because midway is finally doing something different, actually people are whining because midway is doing the same fucking thing it always has.
Relying on gimmicks instead of gameplay.
Instead of trying to make something truly epic to play, with fluid controls and a lack of retarded cheapness, they are tending to the desires of impulsive, thoughtless fanboys ...
Because it is easier to market Mortal Kombat then it is to make a good game.

For the record, I hate DC, I hate this idea, I hate everything about the concept behind this game, but I freely admit I'll be buying it anyway.

But why hate something that hasn't gotten the chance to actually show people what it's going to be like? Why hate something that we the fans wanted a change for once in the game?
Its just like if you hated someone at your school for no appearant reason, then a few years later, you discover that this person is a fricken millionaire and all of that person's friends are rich becuase they like that person and enjoy everything that person has to offer.
Well, I know you're buying the game seeing that you already stated it, but you never know that if you buy the game, you might actually enjoy what it delivers. Yeah, a crossover game is something that we've never thought would actually happen, even I myself denied the existence for the next game to be a crossover, but yet, I could also see it coming.
Almost all fighting games have done that with something. Street Fighter did, KOF did it, why shouldn't MK be allowed to do it? Is it becuase it's more grusome and gory than the other fighting games? That every other game doesn't meet it's standards or something? No, it's just basically pointless to cry over a game, really, it is.

I gotta agree with Sub-Frost. I, as a fan of DC, am completely open to this idea. I'll admit, like pretty much everyone else, in the beginning, I was like, "Are you fulking kidding me?!?!? Fulk this!" The point is, whether or not you like or dislike DC, you must be open minded to this new generation of MK.
Btw, I gotta say that I enjoy reading Sub-Frost's posts. Funny dude, funny dude.....I'll admit that I've been tempted to write "cheers" after a rant, but wouldn't wanna take your TM. lol.
