Meat was just a skin (hehe) change. I always viewed it as a skinless version of the character you picked--not a new character.

meat is not a character..."meat" is the name for a specail alternate costume that every character can use.

chameleon/khameleon are characters...theyre the "shang tsung" of masked characters...though they are characters...they arent "true" characters. (in the aspect that nothing about them was orginal)the only one that had a story was kham (n64)..the ps version cham (male) didnt have a story.

i think we should count meat as a character because...

when he says make an appearance he probably means in a gallery just a pic of meat or maybe in create a character mode they will be in there and if you want to make them a character i really doubt characters like meat mokap and all the other ones would have anything to do with the actual game id bet money on it
dunno about blaze though hes the only one that i can see being brought back as anything more than a pic or a skin in create a fighter
