Users at the GameFaqs message boards for MK Deception say that the PS2 version is the only version with the rare metal card! They say it isn't going to be in the Xbox Kollector's Editions!!! Is this true?

I have ps2 but does it matter if you get a metal card?? I mean it isn't something to boast about you should happy about the game not the card.

If you don't have a life just get one so you can take your mind off this game and the card because MK isn't everything......

Jk anyways the PS2 version does not only get Sub-Zero on the cover but we also get the metal card thingy

I think it sucks for Xbox owners. :-/
Midway is really smart, a real fanboy would buy a PS2 game just for the card, when in reality, he already has the game for Xbox....and he has no PS2.
Im happy we get the card, it sucks we dont get awesome covers.

I thought that the Xbox buyers got cards for their corresponding cover. Like, Mileena gets Mileena, Raiden gets Raiden, etc.
I'm personally a PS2 owner, who would rather have a Mileena cover then a Sub-Zero one, so I was kinda PO'ed that the Xbox people got such a broad choice, while we had ours chosen for us, but if we're really the only ones who get a card, I suppose that makes up for it. In any event, haha Xbox. :P

In that case I'm not a fanboy I would never buy both games just to get a freaking card. That is just non sense only buy 1 version of the game people. That money could be used to buy some nice clothes.

i got the sp. edition not just for a dam card.. but for the kontent that was also included.. mk1 is one of my main reasons.. but i must admit.. the card is going to be cool.. pure metal at that..

Don't trust what you read on the GameFAQs message boards, usually what people say there is bullshit.
The Xbox Kollector's Editon has four different covers: Baraka, Mileena, Raiden and Scorpion in the box will be a card of the character that is on the box, while the PS2 Premium Pack has Sub-Zero on the cover and has a Sub-Zero card in the box.

Whats it matter? Its just a piece of metal..its not like it will be worth anything. Plus, your all missing the point...which is this game was made for the xbox...all the other systems are getting the port version...its just like the guys at midway felt sorry for people who own a ps2...so they threw them a metal cover to make them feel more superior....and look at that...it worked!! PS2 is for faggs.

I have an xbox and I wouldn't care if the Kollector's Edition didn't come with a card.
Although this talk about only the PS2 version having a card is untrue because the xbox version also has one of the metal cards, except it isn't of sub-zero it is of the character that is on the cover of your copy of the game.
The GameFAQs message boards are not a reliable source for information most of the stuff that is posted there are unfounded rumours.
And yes the xbox is the superior console wink

ps2 owns! maybe not in the graphics department but they have a selection of games much more suitable for me...and you get free online! anyways im not even buyin the premium pack because i could care less about mk1, 25 bios, and some other stuff...someones just gonna post it on here someday and ill get to see it for free smile

I'm just curious abt. MK1; wonder what kinda cover it will have and will it look like ordinary PS2/X-Box games; also will it be sold separate?
