There is more than enough evidence to secure that is Smoke. But it doesn't matter. People only see what they what to see. Just like Li Mei, just like Skab.

That's simple logic really. They say its someone else because THEY want it to be somebody. For the longest time, I said that woman wasn't Li Mei, but I knew it really was. I absolutely HATE Li Mei. I didn't WANT it to be Li Mei. And now the bitch is here ._. I think that's what people are doing with Smoke. About half of the people here think Smoke looks horrendous. They don't want it to be Smoke because he looks so bad. I can't blame them if Smoke is one of their favorite character.

I think Skab can be accounted for the same way, however, he has a little bit more to him.

I could understand the Li Mei situation a little more than the one with Smoke. It's not like she had a sign on her back saying "Li Mei." But this character is clearly made out of Smoke, and the logo on his boots are supposedly the oriental sign for Smoke. It would be absurd to dismiss that.

The thing is, I don't believe it's because people think he looks bad. Many of these guys wanted a cyborg, and despite what so many were saying, they were dead convinced in their hearts that it would be impossible for Smoke to be anything other than a cyborg. Their imaginations were too limited to see any way for Smoke to escape his metal form, or maybe they were too scared to even consider the idea. A lot of us warned them that they shouldn't get their hopes up, but their minds were already made. Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am. The fact that anybody could be that close minded scares me.

I was thinkin that although smoke was a cyborg its possible that there could be two smokes. One could be the cyborg and another could be his soul that took the form of smoke. Im not sure if this could work with the MK history and all of smoke but it seems like it could.

aside from his outfit...(which i think could stand a quick overhaul before release) smoke looks awesome...the mask is crazy as hell, i love it....and to be honest...i'm happy the mk team has made this jump...bottom line...it's been what? 6 years since smoke has appeared in some form and to be honest, something dramatic had to be done...i'm happy with the change and whole heartedly agree with temp...all the close mindedness(haha spelling) needs to end

Alright lets agree on one thing, whoever this guy is...... he's gettin messed up by Baraka.
