I think time has pasted in MK. For exampe I know I heard or read somewhere in MK: DA, that it had been 10 years since Liu Kang had beat Shang Tsung at the 1st MK torney(MK1 came out in 1992 and MK: DA came out in 2002 thuis ten years). So I would think that everyone that was in MK1 has aged 10 years older.

Yes, it does run in real time. MKDA says it's been 10 years since Liu Kang beat Shang Tsung in the first tournament. So 10 years have passed.

MK1 was in 1992.
MK2 was in 1993.
MK3 was in 1995.
MK4 was in 1997.
MKDA was in 2002.
MKD is, apparently, in 2002.

Or who knows? Maybe since it's a two-part story, they both take place now in 2004.

From what the boys said at e3 konquest mode will start off before the first mk and go all the way threw the newest game MKD. So the time line will hit every game and character. Sounds cool to me.

What doesn't make sense is Konquest spans over 50 years. There's no way that Sonya is 76 if she appears in Mortal Kombat Deception. It's just not plausible. They'll have to do some adjusting of the konquest mode for it to work out with the timeline.

Well just look at Sub Zero from MK3 to the one in MKDA, he aged quite a bit.

I think he's talking about he thinks it was be4 the very first MK. which would be like 50 yrs. Because be4 lui kang beat shang tsung they won 9 consecutive KOmbats and if they would of won the 10th one then Outworld would of ruled Earth Realm. Because the one who wins 10 consecutive KOmbats owns the realm. But wat we're talking about was the first KOmbat Earthrealm won which was 1992 as you all say the first game. There were never games for the 9 before that whoever said it would be 50 yrs for KOnquest I think it will be 10-12 yrs.
