Joyoza, it is a big mistake to make threads like this they just ask to be closed or filled with flammers. If you really wanted to post it though you could have at least posted it in General Discussion or DA Discussion since it has nothing to do with Deception. Did you play Soul Calibur 2 on a Hard difficulty cause every game is easy on Novice. I myself prefer Mortal Kombat games over Tekken ones their isn't enough in Tekken games to keep me interested.

MkDA was fun and all but the best one to date....not even close.MK2 had DA beat in every way you can think why do you think they are trying to make Deception feel like MK2 but with Da look.
Tekken and Soul Caliber are both fine games not as easy to pick and play as MK but both can be fun with time.

Don't overreact so much. It makes you look stupid. And I don't mean that in a flame-esque way, I'm just saying, you're embarrasing yourself. Just ignore them. If people are dumb enough not to realize the greatness of Deception, then so be it. There's people stupid enough to vote for Bush too but I don't go on forums and yell and bitch at them for it. It would just make us Kerry supporters look dumb, just like you're making MK fans look dumb by doing this. So stop.

I'm probably a bigger MK fan than you are, and possibly have been playing longer, even, but I can NOT lie:
Soul Calibur 2 is MILES ahead of MK in terms of skill-based gameplay and intelligent battles.
I'm sorry, but if you want a game to grab when you have ten friends all around the tv, talking trash and trading controls around, you can't beat SC2.
Period.

well well...this forum is getting really dense with threads like these,every day someone has to do that over and over again....there's one thing called "Community Faq",and it seems that nobody ever read it....i only see one thing for this thread....and it's an immediatly closing by one of the mods....i understand that this forum is for discussion,but in a moderate and fine way,but with people like these it's getting really difficult to achieve....

Ok, one that's a burn on Canada. And two, I just want to point out that I never said that Tekken, DOA, SC or any other game was better than MK. I said that some people like those other games. I agree completely, people shouldn't bash it until they've played it. However your logic is a bit flawed in the fact that creating threads like this is an invitation for those people to once again begin doing what you don't want them to do which is bash the game and come out. What you've posted gives them every reason to disagree and bash it if they feel that way.
Anyway, here's to a few more days of waiting. We're approaching the finishing line now :)

Not everyone who likes those other games are mk haters. They are just trying to find ways to make MK have LESS faults. No I don't mean make them more like other games. Just take what is wrong with the combo system, or throw system, or moves and make them better. They are asking for clean fast MK game. I love MK and I love the other games as well. But if no one ever complains or points out the faults of a game it will never grow. The next MK will be even better than this one. Why because people give the MK staff feed back. If you have 50% of the people that love the game and 50% that hate certain things about the game then the MK staff will listen to us and make a change in the future. And the people that you are saying BASH the game most of the time are the ones that chop the game up and find the big combos or glitches. I also know that some of them are really good at MK. So if you play online then watch out for them. Cause most of the time they will not have to proove there is a problem with gameplay and such they will show you, By using the things that are broke in the game to beat you. Right when you think you are good you find a perso who knows all the cheap cheats and pulls a infinate combo out the bag. Now me on the other hand can't play MK a lick. I get stomped into the ground all the time. But I keep on playing no matter who hates the game. DSB

MKDA was a fun game but I honestly can't stand playing it with that god awful control scheme after a while....
MKDA/MKD (maybe MKD will be better) are great cuz of the flavor, not the fighting mechanics :(
Tekken is so intuitive, fluid, natural and logical it's just so fun to play 24/7
but i do hate the soul edge series, that game is just so bland and boring

In my opinion Tekken is a all round better game then MK, its faster seems more realistic too and its way more fun. I find MK especially MK: DA can get boring real fast after a months and the characters moves aren't really that great and the characters are too alike.
Tekken has a huge variety of styled characters and it appeals to people of all different skill levels, there are characters that the absoulte beginner can use eg Law or Eddy, then u have more difficult ones like King and Yoshimitsu.
I been playing MK since the earlyest i can remember and the first series of mk (mk1 and 2) were alot better some how, ever since mk4 i just havent been enjoying it. I started playing Tekken back when it first came out and it has never dissapointed (except teeken teg tournament that was abit silly) but aside form that the game just keeps getting better. I have been checking out Tekken 5 screen shots and the characters are just looking so realistic its amazing the technology they have got.

The simple solution is to except people have various opinions on games. Creating threads like this only serves to incite those people who are simply stating these opinions, thus is has no place on this forum.
