I liked her moves. I thought she was a little original. Her weapon was OK. I thought her look was awesome. She had many moves involving her legs. Her story was also very cool. I liked how she made people think she was a good guy but at the end she was bad all along.

2) she had a bladed boomerang, a very cool weapon
3) she had my second favorite bone breaker in MK4, the one where she jupmed up on your head and twisted body to break neck in a swift 180 degree motion
4) she HAS potential to be a great and developed character, she can be a jade or a kitana of Deception

I didnt like Tanya in MK4 but Im going to give the MK4 charcters another chance.There going to be alot diffrent now.You have to remember EVERYONE in MK4 had the same exact combo.So no one really was their own charcter.

IMO her moves were alright.

I must say though, i think she does suck, and is pointless to be in MKD. They coudlve put in a better character instead of her. But meh, i dont think shes worst than Li mei, but i do agree with you, tanya should NOT have returned. She was pretty much just a filler in MK4 with no good story.

she has a very appealing body, plus shes got excelent moves, and when she attempts to break the neck of a person, thats not that bad either. My opinion though. Not anyone elses.

Now, I agree that a BLADED boomerang would have been cool like the one that kid in MadMax had, but no where does it say or show that was a bladed boomerang, if it was, dont you think that would have just made the whole thing metal instead of wooden. Please think.

I'm personally complaining about this characters track history. She was 0 for 1 in her one appearance. She was a horrible character and just a space filler in MK4. On the other hand, they could have completely re-done everything about her for this installment, but...lets be realistic, if they were going to do someone over, I think they would pick a more formidable character than Tanya. Plus, how much could they revamp her to make her a contending positive character. That would have to be a complete overhaul. I'm not saying she wont be a good character in the new game, I am questioning why people are cheering for her in the first place seeing as she sucked in her first game. I am not narrow minded enough to write her off for a game I haven't even played yet.

If I'm not mistaken Tanya was fairly top tier. She dominated fairly consistantly and got the large win streaks; least in the handfull of areas I played. She had easy, utilitarian juggles. Coverd space and zoned well, had decent air priority, too. Her story seams to have a decent fit with the whole "deception" thing she had going on in MK4; not sure if that will be tranlated over, though.

Her overall character has potential, IMO. But, for someone to say she "sucked" as far as play goes, is incorrect.

I like every single Mortal Kombat character and it's always good when a character who hasn't been used for a long time gets used again.

And besides, I made some clear and convining arguments that myself, and my friend Kirby agreed on.

Elitekombatant,video games are geared towards men since more men play video games then women.So they will obviously make outfits that are attractive to men.Why else would they give all these characters revealing outfits and jiggly parts?

IMO though, tanya's story was horrible, and i dont think she has great potential. IMO, she shouldnt of returned, cause to me, shes just a pointless character.

I dont think people should change their opinions to agree with mine. I don't know why they make those parts jiggly, I tend not to focus on that part of the character as I am beating the shit out of them with whoever I am playing with. My only suggestion as to why they make them like that is because they know "some" people, not naming any names, don't have enough self control to not focus on those parts and make it a point to comment about them. I don't know, call me crazy.

I don't like Tanya, but it's not like anyone ever changes their opinions after these threads. There were numerous threads about my main man Smoke that were exactly like this one. Not only did I give them one good reason, but I gave them five good reasons. Did the Smoke-haters care? No, there minds were already made up. I did it previously for Nightwolf, and I'll do it again for anyone else I see fit to be in the game.

Anyway, Saty is right. Tanya was actually pretty damn good gameplay-wise in MK4 and he basically gave all the reasons why.

You don't have to like her, and if you don't then just think about how much fun you'll have finishing her off ok?
