oh I'm sorry ,I shouldve been more clear,I'm not talking any MK game in "general"I was talking about players who plan on playing MKD online for the mere pupose of being able playing others on line which can only be done through MKD,so I thought that qualified...but again my apoligies a thousand times. In order to be the best you have to have stategy during the fight. Fighting in games is mainly about timing and counters,if a fighter on the offense and a player on the defense that knows when and when not to counter actually fought, the defender would usually win because most of the time it is never the aggressor that wins the fights, its always the smarter one. And you should always use your characters strengths,like Sub Zero's freeze and Scorp's spear.Never use your weaknesses in battle,never exploit them, and you'll become a force to be wreckoned with.

I tend to be the defender while playing fighting games, and not to brag but I think I am pretty decent at fighting games. I cant't wait to fight you guys this fall online

Yes savior,I agree with your setiments,and along with that I think the most important factor in it all that can't be overlooked ....EXPERIENCE! which takes time,and through fight after fight to learn of of the little quirks and nuances,...who knows how much Time it will take for you to be Really good?,but I guess the more important question is...how much TIME are you willing to put in ?,will you sacrifice sleep?..oh yeah!?...how much?....well how much can I do with out?...what about other games,ya know if ya wanna be really good,ya gonna havta not play anything but...MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!...what?!....yep!..now,are you willing?!....(evil laugh..)

hmmm...yes very similair,and being that I would never claim to be the best (even if I were)I guess the title to this topic refers to you.
...(clears throat) ahem..anyway,yes you can be great,if you practice,but I wonder how many...(looks around for the moderator...and raises his voice just a bit...) Mortal Kombat Online...(lowers voice) players out there,will not only....wait!,I'm gonna back up,here a bit ,(in a sinister chinese voice...)you say practice huh???,what type of practice are you talking about? huh???,better yet,how many hours a day do you plan on practicing...or even playing?

I will be the best simply I know all the combos from da an alot are returning for MK:D so if you're gonna be online keep your user name so I'll who am beating the shit out.

Trying to deceide on my user name right now ,I have several that I can chose from , it depends on weather I will join a clan,start my own,or just wreck havok through out all of outworld solo...hmmmm..(scratches chin)and on your other jab,I see I already have an one up on ya,cause yes you may have all the combos down from DA,but unfortunately ....you forget,the game will be less based on combo play and more on actuall tatical stratigic play,due to the all new counter move .....COMBOOOO BREAKEEEEER!!!

Okay I'm a very defensive player,never on the agressive fighting.I am really easy to learn anything from MK,like it's my goal to achieve it,when I get deception I'll watch the intro for a moment then go straight to konquest mode learn two fighting styles per day,then go to arcade and play on max.I will be the best for sure at chess combat,not because am the best at the chess game,but I will fight my ass offf for the power piece,good luck online guys.

I can't wait to see how many people out there are great players but I think this topic is to early. It sure would be nice if the game were out now because we could all talk a little trash and then jump online to see who is the better player. I played alot of people at e3 and there were some really good players. I just hope we don't run across many of the mk staff they were all real good. As they should be. I know that I am not even close to being the best but I will still play and soon enough I should get better. DSB
