Is it possible that in those two pics that Konqurr posted (the old pic of Noob gettin kicked by Ermac, and the "Black Ninja" render photo) are the same costume? I mean someone did say that the German photo of the black ninja w/ white skin is an older production pic or something along those lines... perhaps the one where he is getting kicked is the more final product of Noob with him having his black skin and all, because theres no doubt its the same outfit.

Now that its obivous its Noob, I hope that black ninja isnt the final version because well, they are missing one major genetic factor that makes Noob, Noob... is black f'n skin. It just doesnt feel like Noob without it. Maybe its only me, but that shadowy aura he gave off where he was all pitch black is what made him original and distinctive in his own way, its what made me a big fan of him atleast. Now for his alt hes just a guy in a black ninja outfit... yay... Give him a Reaper outfit instead, that ninja one is soo damn plain.

If in MKD, boon has noob with dark skin in one costume and then white skin in an alt, that would be a huge character plot hole. I mean noob's skin has always been dark. MK4 proved this as you can actually see his dark skin for the 1st time in that game.

Thank You, thats what Im saying. Noob doesnt need to have black skin, he HAS to have black skin. For story sake and his own origins sake, its an absolute neccesity.

Well, that clears it then, might a swell say that he looks kick ass.

i like how you can see his skin..in the other 2 shots of him all black you couldnt even make him out unless you made the screen brighter. i think he looks very cool now. i wouldnt mind if the all black glossy look is an alternate or something.

have the sythe/sythcal as his weapon(the grim reaper weapon) and have his grom reaper outfit, it makes sense, that gives u a weapon to go with it, plus a grim reaper is all shadow doesnt even show its face. dammit i wanted to see a grim reaper outfit someone contact BOON, konqrr helppppppppp does somebody know how to change this and make a grim reaper outfit. if i was a designer i would have thought of this.

they are wayyy smarter than i am, so how come they havent come up with that idea, everyone on the forum mentioned a grim reaper outfit. that would loook soo badass, more badass then when i first saw MKDA subzero alternate outfit.

I also noticed which was funny as hell. i knew boon would do that. john tobais(saibot) does not work with the company nomore, so they just named the guy Noob(boon) LOL!!!! LOL

His shoes and leg armor are the same so yeah they'r both Noob.

They are both Noob definitely. Now the big question is if that flesh color Noob is a Alt. Costume or if it was an early version of him and then decided that he has black skin and making it flesh might throw his whole character desgin out of wack.

Who knows? Either he looks good. Just I know for sure I want the all black costume to stay which it will. The flesh is nice though.

Yep, it's Noob. And Noob doesn't need to have dark skin, he's a demonesque eing from the Netherealm.

The life bar just say's Noob but you can't really change his whole name cause of that.

He can be called either Noob or Noob Saibot since those are both correct.

Could he, or would Ed even want the name "Tobias" or "Saibot" after his character Noob? after Tobias' departure.

I was trying to select noobs grim reaper costume but I guess it's not in MK4 for PC. Time to break out mortal Kombat 4 Gold for dreamcast.

I also think that it would be better than had the dark skin, but is not absolutely necessary, since Reiko also was member of the Brotherhood of the Shadow, and his skin was normal.

Maybe Noob decepted us all and his skin was not black. It may be his power to make his skin dark so he can be a shadow ninja. And now, we can see Noob without his power activated.

maybe there will be a command to make his skin black through the fight ;)

maybe noob is not apart of the shadow brothers in this game explaining why his skin looks normal... and also i posted a post stating y it just says noob... and it has been confirmed.. the reason y its just noob cause of john tobais left midway and the only way to use noob was to take out the saibot of it... that is my idea on y noob's skin is like that but as for his name its confirmed by my sources....

I can't believe this nonsense about Tobias leaving Midway affecting Noob is STILL being spread. Noob was in MKTE. He was called "Noob Saibot". John Tobias leaving Midway has absolutely no impact on using or not using the Noob Saibot character.
