I called 3 different Toy R Us's by me and they all don't know when it comes in. I think one dude didn't even know what MK was.

So NO They don't have it in the back. And NO they're not getting it today.

I just got off the phone with my local Toys R Us and they said they don't have it in yet. They said the ship date is Oct. 4, and they probably won't have it in for a few days after that so probably Oct. 6 they said. So Toys R Us won't have it early. I'm sure it only says it's avalible from their web site becuase they have it in the warehouse and people who probably pre-order will get it on Oct 4, the same day it's supposed to ship. It probably doesn't apply to in store pickup

I just called my 3 local Walmarts, my three local EB Games, my 4 Gamestops, and my 2 Targets here in Austin TX. All of them said no. Not even one shipment.

The slim possibility of anyone getting is crazy if neither one of those stores above has it.

I just went to two Toys R Us today in Long Island, New York (I had to run a few errands today and I was going to pass by both stores). They have the boxes out but it's ONLY for display purposes and it was only the regular version. One of the employees I talked to said that they usually get the boxes first before the actual game (which I kinda think is BS) though when he showed me the box, it wasn't wrapped up. Well, that's my 2 cents. At least I know now that I won't be getting the game until Tuesday for sure.

Well, 2 down, 1 to go. I just got another official shut down from another local Toys R Us here in Jacksonville, Florida.

The one that is still somewhat optimistic states that there shipment for the day is merely running late, and for me to call back around 4 or 5.

sounds like the biggest deception about this game is the early release dates from TRU and Target... but go figure. Not even the strategy guides are out around here in Indianapolis. Monday is only 3 short days away though

Target Stores (Southside, Atlantic, Orange Park, Mandarin) - All stated that the game has no official release date in their books, and they do not have it. However, the store on Mandarin stated that it's possible it came in today, because the UPS man did make a delivery, however it's not available yet, and to check back in the morning.

Wal-Mart stores - Might I state that the biggest amount of idiots work at these stores, as no one has any of the same information. San Jose, Atlantic, Beach, and Dun Ave. stores, all do not have the game yet, nor would any of them check.

One of them put me on hold for 15 minutes, to then say the game would be released November 16th...

EBGames - Avenues, OP Mall, Southside, Regency, Flem. Island - Most expect it on the 5th, however some are expecting it around 1 by the 4th.

Rhino Games - More Idiots, OP Mall and Southside - I swear to god, the guy made me ask him what "Mortal Kombat" I was asking for 3 times. I hate people who just own video game stores and know nothing about the product. Long story short, even if they had it, they wouldn't know where to find it in their stores.

LOL.All day ToysRus was like we are expecting two more shipments.Finally,I called them again.They said we're still waiting on another shipment,try us back on Tuesday.LMAO.They for sure had their own deception going.

I called my Toys R Us, they have the shipment, but they don't know when they'll put it on shelves. So yeah.

Called 3 Toys R Us here in St. Louis to no avail then gave up. This is one of the few times I can't wait for the weekend to be over...

this has probably been said 100000000 times on the board, but im gonna say it here as to not start another thread on it. here is how it works, for people who have preordered it online, they will ship them on monday (the 4th), so everyone has it by the 5th, if they used 1 day delivery. it will be available on store shelves on the 5th. so far anyone who claimed to have it now, or getting it today, either came forward and said it was a joke, or hasn't offered proof of it. i personally preordered the premium pack from ebgames.com with 1 day delivery, so i am not looking for anything before tuesday the 5th as far as the fed-ex guy. point is, unless you work for midway, a website, or a store carrying it, or know someone who does, you arent playing it til the 5th at the earliest.

Yup... toys r us doesn't even kno when they are getting it... they got the display boxes yesterday!!! but Target did tell me they will have it the 4th

The game will be realesed the 4th and 5th of october. End of question.
