umk3 on xbla

Let me start off by saying I love this game but......
the little 14-18 year olds that play it online today just ruin the game in general.For example,they are usually the ones to use the term,noob.Now when they call me a noob,i find it funny since i have been playing this game for the last 10 years or however many its been out.And everytime i play either a ranked match,all everyone wants to use is either kabel or smoke(then human smoke).And you can bet your ass all they do is those combos that you CAN NOT get out of.I am sorry,but those little kids just ruin the game for me,hell i actually think they ruin the game for everyone.


I told someone just last night,that if he was playing me in the snes verison of umk3 that i would kick his ass at it,cause i found it easier on the controls and pulling stuff off in that game.Has anyone else had anything else like this happen to where someone just ruin the game for you and made it no fun?Maybe its i dont have time to sit on my ass all day like i use to when i was 14 or 15 which was about 10 years ago and play it to death.I mean,i kinda feel bad for those who remember all 60 plus fatalitys and its just sad.Hell I can only remember smokes and cyraxs and thats it.

My point to all this is,MK was never ment to be cheap even though it had/has cheap moves and combos.If you play cheap,then you dont know how to really play any MK game or any video game for that matter.All people will do,is hate you,dislike you and no one will want to play with you.There is a difference from being Good at the game and being cheap at it.

What's your definition of "cheap" In UMK3, it's not nearly as bad as the newer ones out now with easy glitches anyone can pull off, the infinites and such in UMK3 actually take a lot of skill to pull off.

If your definition of cheap is lots of sweeps, pokes, running jabs, throws, crossovers etc that's not cheap.That's how you play the game man.You will get a lot more offense in UMK3 then any other MK game due to the run button especially.

You can just ask shock, dremmer etc in the classic.They'll tell ya.

But FTR, UMK3 is the best hands down MK game ever made thus far.It's the most balanced, least amount of glitches, infinites aren't easy like the jokes in the newer games with say Jade in MKA for example.

You probably just had a bad night, it happens man no worries.

Keep trying trust me there are just some people online in UMK3 that are really good, and a lot more comp then MKD and MKA combined.Good luck.

THAT GAME IS GREAT!!! I wont pick kabal.... i use human smoke(cause regular smoke is cheap as hell), but my best is NIGHTWOLF!!!!!

RoboSmoke is very good, however believe it or not man.Human Smoke is actually better, him and Kabal are still to this day debatable as to which one is better.Some will say H.Smoke, others Kabal.

But either way, both smokes are great.

I think they are equal to be honest, H smoke gots stronger combos where as kabal gots the speed. The reason why kabal is top tier might be because of the fact that he can cancel out alot of moves with the spin thing (even kung lao's spin)

Yeah, it's pretty close but for different reasons.Kabal is awesome though for sure, his spin is everything when it comes to Kabal when it's all said and done.

Yeah, it seems the ones that didnt grow up with the games, dont really know what respect means. I may be 18, but Play alot of classics, I still do and yeah, I would woop their ass'es at the snes version anyday of the week. Weve been playingh these games when they were wanting candy and watching barney. They want to use a word that came from the game it's self, let them. Consider it a compliment. Noob saibot is a bad ass. Your a noob, cool he's relating me to noob saibot. And when ever u want to play with a guy who doesnt do all of that crap, my gamertag is hellrazerhd,no different from my user name on here.
