If theres characters in the krypt to unlock, when i unlock them, i want to be able to fight them first before unlocking them. And if i lose to him/her then i wouldnt get to unlock em and i'd waste my money. That would make the game more difficult.

I also want to unlock characters other ways to. Maybe come secret ones can appear before a fight and give you hint just like in mk2.

If you were to unlock characters in MK:D, I would think that it could be done in konquest mode. Just think about it. You make them hidden, well sort of. You have to meet up with certain people at certain times. And if you fulfill all of the requirements, you will see a character walking down an alley, you go to stop him and he takes a swing at you. Then, you flash into a fight scene, like arcade mode. You have to beat said character with your Konquest character to obtain him. Plus, after you beat him, he gives you the option to train with him so you can acquire one of his techniques or maybe bump up your stats. I like that idea. It would make Konquest even better than it already will be.

hints should be in the krypt but not unlockables like costumes, 2nd fatalities and characters.

perhaps beat the game in ______ difficulty to get 2nd fatality of that character.

100 wins in arcade to unlock alternate costume (100 overall not all at once)

then completely random stuff like break diamond 3 times in a row to unlock *character*
defeat a secret character to unlock the portal stage
all matches to go to 3 rounds in ______ difficulty to unlock raiden etc etc.
