i dont like the idea of committing to use a character that i have only had a day to use.. What if 2 days from then i unlock say Hotaru and instantly release he's my best character... Locking into/committing to a character after only a day of play, no thanx.. Im not interested.. I'll compete with you all next time after i know who i'm good with. not really since you have an entire 2 days to do it.. lets see get it on tues register on thurs.. and by friday its all set... i mean if you can't get used to a char under 2 days... then thats not our fault. plus its more fair.

Sound good to me, but the only thing that bugs me is the "death trap rule".
It's too cheasy to win a game if you're being set for a deathtrap.Other than that i see no probleme.
I really think we should keep default setting for the death trap.But hey it's your tourny so you run the show.

Whoa...death trap wins ALL three rounds?!?! And guard damage? Everything else I'm O.K. with but the death trap wins all is kinda cheesy.

I say lose the death trap rule. They are like ring outs...when have you ever seen a "1 ring out wins the match" type rule? Ringout/deathrap wins are kinda cheap as it is, but to make em win the whole match makes em even cheaper. Stick to the basic rules that all fighters use. I highly suggest changing this.

Do you two mind just answering a few questions? Why are you locking players into just 1 character? Why are you reducing the defaulted # of combo breakers (3) to (2)? And why are you increasing life to 200% (how is that even possible)? These are some shady ass rules if you ask me, considering tournament play almost ALWAYS leaves things at default settings (except rounds to win)!
I agree with the no use of Dragon king, but why Shujinko??? He is a standard character on select screen. He is not customizable like everyone originally thought he would be, he just has alot of special moves. With all those moves, dont you think he's going to have MAJOR damage protection applied to his combos???????
I also like the idea of Death traps winning the game.. good idea.

the 200% rule and i repeat is only for the FINAL.. so it will be challeging and intersting to see.. and we changed it from 3 to 2 only because we want it to be more stratigic to use these... and we don't want shujinko since he can have almost eveyones moves and it will be kinda unfair..
if you happend to unlock noob smoke before or during the 7th, then you are allowed to play as him.
seriously why do you want us to be just like any tournament... i mean this is gonna be a fun one to play because it will be challenging.. and since you have 3 days to practise in the arenas you should be firmilerized with the layout... and from almost all posters (don't know if there still around) they didn't liked the fact that it just ended the round.. so we fix that to...

"Official Tournaments" (as ur title suggests) usually follow a certain criteria, thats all. In an "Official" tournament, i wouldnt expect to see rules to help safeguard its creators' spot in the finals...Because thats all i see when I read you have to be locked into 1 character for the whole match (so people can adapt to your play), and reducing certain aspects of the game from its default number (CBs, what because you guys think they are "Cheap", they will not be allowed.. Face it, they are part of the final product.. deal with it) And Banning a selectable character because you think he has Too many specials moves... WTF!!!!
