@Ben, a bit off in more ways then one there lol. I'd say with DC now despite how many ignorant fans are against it, only way to go it up actually and new storyline Noob's past actually makes sense given that his eyes always glowed "blue".....he actually gained more popularity once that was revealed in MKD. Obviously, most fans liked the idea. Cage has always been a jokey character all together

Look, I know what most people think about Cage, that he doesn't really have a use in MK, but I really do think that he has a use; it's just less obvious than the other characters, and not as appreciated as the uses of the others.

I think Noob is cool and all, and I wouldn't mind his return, especially if they expanded on his rivalry with Sub-Zero/Scorpion, but I can't help but think I'd be even happier if it was Cage returning. I think it's good for a game like MK to have that quirky comic-relief character that doesn't take everything as seriously or as gravely as everyone else (which is why I didn't actually like his whole "hero" image in MK:A). I always liked Cage for his personality in the games, in his endings, in his actions, dialogue, etc.

I can see why a lot of people find him annoying, but he's a unique character. A comical moviestar; Noob Saibot is just another of a whole gaggle of different colored ninjas in MK (not that they aren't cool). Cage probably won't ever have any heavy storyline points, but I think his presence will always complete an MK game (opposite Scorpion or Goro).

Plus, "Johnny Cage" just sounds way better than "Noob".
