BY looking at that DK guy, it kinda looks like if that was him, that he would actually HAVE fatalitys, and with that weapon damn that would make some nasty fatalaitys, and that middle guy, could eat chew, throw something badass out his mouth, and boom, another cool fataltiy, also everytime the DK wins, he should ALWAYS do his fataltiy, that would be even more badas, a boss that always does the fatality. badass keep this post pinned on the topso it doesnt go down where ppl cant vote or see it, and anyway everybosdy that reads or replys to your other post should reply to this one.

I just want an actual boss with a Fatality again.

Well I think I just did and there are some bad news.

If you make the link you posted shorter , you will reach a school's web page. You can even check for the faculty members ! If you do , there is a teacher named Dan Goldston. He has his own homepage with some of his interests and published books (I guess). In the homepage , there is a link at the bottom that says Victor Lee Design. It takes you to a page with links to "Game Character Designs" , "Game Art" , "In-Game Objects" , "Game Screens" and others.

I hope the guy was just having fun making his own game and that something can be worked out.

I tried sending an e-mail to the guy but my horrible computer won't let me for a reason.

I don't have "connections" , and I'm not like those guys who go around message boards saying they know someone who is working on the game. I just found an e-mail address for the possible maker of these designs.

I wouldnt begin to explain how GOOD i would feel, if it was you guys and ME, that were the reason that they made dragon king look like that in the game, and even think because of us, that guy made a deal with us and because of us boon made him look badass like that, we have a found creature that u found, and now its in a game thankx to us.

that would make us feel really good, and sorta feel like this game was in tribute of us, damnit he could even put our name in the credits!!!!!!!!!!! that would kick ass.

besides now that i think of it, i dont even think they would need money to make the deal with the guy who made it, imagine a college guy who made it, and found out someone likes his art and could even make his art popular, if i made that, i would be like "WOW, u gonna use my drawings in your famous game, that would make me popluar for making the drawings and the milions that the game will sell, hookme up with money, just having my drawings in the game would be worth it"

so just having the drawing in the game would be worth that guy letting boon use the drawings period. now we just need boon to see it:(

Uh....That's the boss from Throne of Darkness, a Diablo-esque PC game. Nice try though.

Its a cool pic but I like the more human aspect of the last boss.

Shang Sung, Quan Chi and Shao Kahn all looked human or humanoid.

I wouldnt want a big boss at the end like a Goro type boss with a huge axe.

I briefly played a demo of that game a long time ago at a friends house. It was horrible compared to Diablo II.

Oh well. Its too bad such a cool design was wasted on such a game.

Mk targets not only younger gamers but a lot of mature ones out there. This game has always been about keeping balance between cheesy stuff in videogames, a balance between fantasy and realtiy, as controversial as it may sound.
Im pretty boon and his team have thought of great looking boss or a sub boss for mk-deception.
If they were asking to post pics for a boss. i would vote for this pic but with very slight changes.
for now i think it's already too late for us to tell them to change the boss's look because u can be rest assured the team by now will be working very hard to balance the game play and online capabilites.

yes indeed, so bottom line, maybe we could try to convince Boon to hire the designer of those pics to design a couple chars for the next mortal kombat 'cause there is no doubt, that that character looks awesome.

That design is ok, but its nothing more than a copy of an existing design. Its basically bltantly ripped from a computer strategy game...can't recall the name of it, but it has a Japanese mythological setting. There's virtually no difference other than color, face, and weapon.

And no, that would not be a good look for the Dragon King...there's nothing...dragon about it.

I agree with metadragonX. I may sound crazy, but i think the dragon king needs to look bigger, badder and buffer than that. That pic is good, but it isnt intimidating. I want the dragon king to look horrific and evil.
