We should set up a hoax hidden character

Ok so thousands of fans help spread the rumor there was Ermac in MK1...was he really there? Or does it matter? Nope..what matters is that because of the infamous nature of Ermac, he became a character and it was just sorta cool.
Anyone up for a real big hoax? We all create a cool character (Basically a name and costume only..creating special moves etc might not be believable) that we found in MK:D, or that is, we supposedly found in MK:D... and all of us take like a base image someone makes and we all use photoshop to make a unique picture, post it on tons of MK websites and get a huge rumor pool going and make MK history and then maybe Midway will throw the fans a bone again and put it in MK:7. Or we could even say we saw it in a different game like MK4.
Personally I'd like to see something like this... and remember when you create a character, make it plausible for just being a cameo character. Like Ermac was just a red palette swap supposedly, and a real secret character Reptile was just a green ninja, they're not (if they ever DID) going to make a unique looking character JUST for a cameo....
Anyway getting back to "personally I'd like to see..." A palette swap of Sub-Zero, where the costume looked like classic Sub-Zero or something, except the color was turqoise (blue-green) like Sub-Zero's alternate in MK3 (that was a cool color) and the guy has blue skin and his name was Tundra (the original name for Sub-Zero).
Even better, if a few people did something like this, and mailed it to magazines...you spark an unstopable rumor fire if they printed it since multiple people wrote in

Hmm...not a bad idea. It'll take a lot of work to make it look as real as possible, but there are tons of stupid people out there that'll believe you..

I hear that if you turn on Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, using your PS2, really fast, and keep pressing the "x" key, a zebra dressed in a tuxedo will show up on the screen and say "You have unlocked me! Hee Haw!!"
He's basically a johnny cage with a Zebra Head.

guys honestly though
while Boon has teased many mk fans over the years,and w/ all the fan hoaxes aside,there are plenty secrets nobody has found in past mk games.
not only have I found a secret in another game that I don't think anyone else has,but the sheer fact that it took from 1996-2001 for anyone to find codes for Goldeneye 64 opens my mind a little further(albeit having the ability to look past blatant bullshit hoax rumors)

Well what's funny now about this post, is this guy was banned the other day for posting a porno pic in the classic MK forum. So, I guess we don't need to go on with the hoax.

The guy who wanted to do this hoax, was banned. So, the main person who really wanted to do it is gone. No need to do it now. That's what it has to do with it.

Yeah, she was a chick who wore Green and hung out with Shang Tsung in the Cobalt mines on Conquest. I never really cared for her, but she seems to have a cult following.
If anyone from taht show gets made into a real character, my vote is for Taja.
Damn... this brought up memories... I miss that show... sure it had nothing to do with the game continuity, but it was still a neat show... and they left us with that huge friggin cliffhanger where everyone died! ...I want resolution. *Pouts*

Wouldn't having an excellent artist mean that you are basically creating a unique character for the sole purpose of a cameo? That isn't plausible. Something like a palette swap and different text in a few photoshopped pictures is all that would be needed. The best thing about just palette swapping is that people won't be able to tell if it was photoshopped. If you photoshopped a picture of Ryu in to MK4 people would know right?

OMG...inspiration has just been struck...
A female version of Bo Rai Cho that is only unlocked by beating the game with Bo Rai Cho 7 times without using the block button! Now if only someone could make a morbidly obese woman in photoshop then we'd have a rumor.wink
