What 3 classic characters do you think have the best chance of returning?

I would like to know what 3 classic characters have the best chance to be in MKD, not because you like them, but because of their popularity,story potential, any proof, and rumors about them returning. There is only 4 or 5 more classic characters that can return not including the shokans.I think boon has been reading forums on the web including this one, and if he sees what characters are wanted i think he may put them in.

Here are my picks:

Sektor: i think Sektor has a 90% chance of making it into Deception. He has great potential for his story and all. His Tekunin clan would be a great addition to Deception, causing more problems for Subby and everyone.

Stryker: I think Stryker has a 55% chance. I beleive that Boon and his crew will give this guy a shot in 3D and see how everyone likes him now. It could happen. I hear a lot of people talking about Stryker in MK:D.

Cyber Smoke: I think Cyber Smoke has a 80% chance of returning in MK:D. He has so much potential with his story line. With the addition of Sektor's clan, Sub-Zero needs someone else to be by his side and be and allie with him. He needs all the help he can get. I beleive Smoke would be much more of a help than stryker. So many people want smoke back. The sketch in the PSM article shows smoke fighting Bo Rai Cho, it could mean something. They might lure you into thinking human is going to be in MK:D(Which is impossible), but they are really gonna have Cyber smoke in it. If boon reads all these posts about everyone wanting smoke he might just add him to the roster.

Let me know what all of you people think about who should be in and give descent reasons. Thank you.

What they mean by classic characters is From MK1-UMK3, not 4 or gold.

What makes you think that? Im pretty sure they mean all the characers that were not in MKDA. Why leave MK4 out?

I honestly don't know man. I don't think that the sketch "smoke" really means anything. I would love to see smoke come back....more so than stryker.

Stryker: Stryker seems 50/50 to me. On one hand he has no place in outworld, but on the other hand does he really need a reason other than Ed wants him there?


Sektor: Seems likely, mainly because he could start shit with Subby.


Cyber Smoke:....Who knows really? If he does come back I'd hope that he looks a lot different fro Sektor. Mybe he should look more "weathered" and worn down, with part of his human face exposed beneath.
Smoke - I have a good hunch.. (Whatever form)
Sektor (???)
Fujin (???)
Rain (???)

Stryker in SWAT gear would just be awesome with maybe an MP5.. I highly doubt it though.

That is what everyone says, that classic characters are from MK1-UMK3.Put it this way.What are the chances Reiko,Jarek,Shinnok, or any of them will return.

I agree with you man, all of the cyborgs should be unique in there own way. You know how Cyrax had those flashing lights on his belt, well the other robots shouldn't, first of all cyrax looks like a christmas tree in MKDA. Smoke's and Sektor's armor should differ if they are both in the game. Their helmets shouldn't be the same either.

Yeah that BMX gear look is getting dated.

LOL Cyrax looks like a XMas tree......


I think sektor should look newer and more wicked, considering he now has his own clan. I'm sure they could have beefed their master up some.


Smoke should look like he's been lost in the wilderness.

Cyrax should sit this game out.

I know, Cyrax had his chance in MKDA, and he did pretty good except that he didn't have the net! Another thing they messed up was giving him those flashing lights on his belt.
BMX gear indeed..

I didn't enjoy Cyrax in MK:DA really.

They just need to be stealthier and much more intimidating.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that in the PSM pictures of the MK chess game that Quan Chi and Kitana are on the board as pieces? I'm willing to bet that its a good indication that they are in the game. Sorry if everyone already knows that.

A member of Sektor’s clan the Tekunin, In MK: TE, Sektor fled to Japan and formed a clan. I think one of it’s members will appear in MK: D

A Shokan warrior, haven’t seen a Shokan for a while, I think this will come to an end in MK: D

(I don’t even want to guess the other 4 spaces)

Deadly Alliance – (3 spaces)

Character - Reason

Reptile - His link with the Dragon King

Shang Tsung/Quan Chi - I definitely think ONE of them will make a return, but not both

Mavado - He’s heard Kabal is alive, knowing his links with the Black Dragon, this Red Dragon assassin wants him out the picture

MK Classics – (3 Spaces)

Character - Reason

Sektor - Returns from Japan with one of his best members (Mentioned earlier) from the newly formed Tekunin

Shao Kahn - Makes a dramatic return, wants the Dragon Kings head

Jade - Don’t really have a decent reason, just think she’s more likely to return out of the others

jade or shao kahn though i am leaning towards jade because i think boon said that kahn would play a minor role - perhaps in the mk7 lineup??

and ill just add to the above posters new character speculation:

red dragon member - possibly a female this time to help mavado or avenge mavado?

Well, there's a couple ways you could define "classics" I mean we don't know exactly how they are dividing them up... For instance, Sub-zero, scorpion, raiden, Shang Tsung, and Kung Lao are classics. But they were also in MKDA.

I dunno, I really hope there are no more ninjas, human or cyborg... we have alot of ninjas allready. I know there a part of MK, but it could get out of hand.

Think about the confirmed characters. I am fairly certain that among the 10 Classics, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are included. By saying that there will be 6 DA characters returning, they probably mean characters that were new in DA. Here's what the roster will probably look like:

Classic:

Scorpion
Nightwolf
Sindel
Mileena
Kabal
Ermac
Noob
Baraka
#10 ????

DA
Kenshi (confirmed)

Frost?
Bo Rai Cho? (hope not)

This is based on story arcs...this leaves only 1 returning classic character. I hope they make a good choice. I could be wrong, but who knows at this point.+

I think the 3 returning characters will be:

1)Sektor (cmon, he's got a brand new clan and you think they'll just forget about him?)

2)Raiden (not really feeling him coming back but...)

3)Smoke (in some form or another)
