i think it's a reward like in UMK3. if you beat the DK you can choose one of them and they'll unlock something

i liked the realm theory.. sounds very significant.. and i dont think quan chi is dead.. maybe under his hypnotical power if anything..

I also doubt Quan Chi is dead. With out him (practically) Scorpion has no story or place in MK. They have to keep him alive long enough to finish the vendetta and give Scorpion a new story twist.

We will have to eventually see them face in an ending where only 1 emerges as the victor.
