IMO Li Mei was a good character in MKDA. The only things not in her favor are her fatality, storyline and ending - and I couldn't care less about the last two. Her Liu He Ba Fa style is very useful; Baji Quan is okay and her Sais blew. Her special moves are some of the best in the game. Li Mei definitely deserves more love. And people, the only way she could come close to being a Mileena ripoff is if she rolled across the ground and ate people.

The problem with li mei is that people don't give her a chance. Someone in this forum(who I forgot) said that characters that appear more than once in an MK game tend to have potential. Where's Shinnok? Stryker? Jarek?. But u do see Li Mei, Kenshi, Bo Rai Cho, Nightwolf etc etc. I say give her a chance to prove herself in MKD then AND only then u ppl will be able to say wat u want. Personally I think she's a great addition to the roster. We keep seeing ninja girls, gods etc etc. But we don't see "normal" girls in MK. With the exception of Sonya and Tanya but Sonya is special forces and Tanya is... well... I can't think of nothing right now but point is that Li Mei can be something more than "eye-candy"Sonya. Li Mei is good-looking and can kick major ass!!!
