first to all the previous posters:
props to you guys for not starting a console war. Beers all around, and milks for those who don't want beers (please since I can't send you the money, please take the drink of choice from your parent and think of me as giving it to you).
Okay if you're already paying for XBox live, or don't mind paying for it and have the broadband modem, then XBox version all the way. While I also like the original XBox controller (its good for people with big hands), the S-Controller isn't too shabby. ALSO you can use PS2 controllers on your XBox with converters (they cost like $5 here at least). So don't let a PS2 fanboy try to convert you just on the controller. Also the XBox will have better graphics, even a PS2er will admit that. Also the XBox version will have HDTV support and loading times will be a tad bit faster.
BUT
PS2 has free onlilne play (for almost all their games) and has an excellant controller. If you don't mind the graphics being slightly watered down, then this isn't a bad idea. Remember though you do still have to have broadband for PS2 online for this game.
Feature wise, the game will be the same across both consoles.
I will be getting it for XBox for the above reasons. I have Live, a decent system for sound (600 watts), and like the controller. Also I don't have a PS2 at all times.
Once again, all the above are just some recommendations, do what you want.

Xbox - Best loading times, Better graphics, 10x better online network.
PS 2 - Longest Loading time out of all the systems, Worst Graphics out of all the systems, Shitty online network.
You make the call.

Well, now that I know the loading times will be faster on the xBox version, I might get it for xBox. Also, I have been warming myself up to the xBox controller a bit... Practicing using the buttons and the D-Pad without a game in the console, so it is becoming a little more comfortable, lol. Btw, I have the S Controller.

knock!...knock!(opens door comes in and closes it behind him)ahem*...umm...on this X-box PS 2 debate thing, theres one more thing that you ought to codsider, that hasnt been brought up yet,but as a PS 2 owner I'll just state my reasons as to why I'm going to go out and buy an X-Box just for MKD...
Reason no.1-- Possible slowdown.
I dont care how good a game looks far as graphics,if its got slow down its still gonna look terrible, and I have been reading reports on the fact that Socom II has been experiencing slowdown, which boggles my mind ...cause this is broadband folks!! how is this possible!? well ,this might be the problem ,being that the games for PS 2 cant go straight to an online server ,but has to go through several different of the game company servers before going to the online server has to go throught so much traffic its no wonder that SC II is experiencing slowdown, where as X-Box has its own closed system so the signal goes straight from the game console ,straight to ....X-Box LIVE!! server which equals...NO SLOWDOWN.
Reason no.2---NO SHARKS!!!
One thing I'm worried about, is people cheating on line, and one of the ways people cheat on the PS 2 is to use those dang GAME SHARKS!!! well on X_BOX I dont think I will have to worry about this ,for there is not even a GAME SHARK made for X-Box,so far as I know.
...and on a final little note as far as the controller thing is concerned,I plan on taking my game very seriously, which means I need to use the proper equipment when fighting online,I need to use not a controller thats made for all types of games in general, but a controller thats made for fighting only!...an ARCADE FIGHTING STICK!!..this will give me a split second faster response time ,which in a close match will make all the difference in the world....SO PREPARE YOURSELFS!!!
