I liked it. It was pretty bad voice acting, but not nearly as bad as MK4, which is good enough for me. Shujinko's voice on the other hand is great. I love it.

I'm starting to notice how their voices are meant to sound.

Notice how Scorpion's voice in MKM:SZ and MK4 sounded alike? I think that's what Scorpion sounds like.

Notice Jax's voice in MKSF and MKDA? That's what he's supposed to sound like.

Now I see some similarity in MKD and in MKG on how Mileena was supposed to sound.

If you compare some of the voices from other games together, you can kind of see how their voices are meant to sound.

Then again, I much prefer Raiden's voice in MKDA than in MK4 and MKM:SZ.

Mileena's voice is alright.

I just hope they keep Raiden's voice from MKDA (cause his voice in MK4 and MKM:SZ sucked, that stereotypical deep-voiced god thing is so played out) and that they don't make Sub-Zero sound like Arnold Schwarzenneger. Oh, and keep Scorpion's voice like it sounds in MK4 and MKM:SZ. THAT is a tight voice.

I also like Kitana's voice in MKG. I hope they keep that.

I so unbelievably agree. Sub-Zero sounded way too much like Viktor Frost in MK4. And yeah, MK has done way too many obviously synthesized voice techniques. Quan Chi's is probably the worst offender. Though Jarek and Shinnok had the worst overall voice acting in MK4.

I wish MK didn't have much bad voice acting. The only voices I found myself REALLY liking and thought it suited the characters best were

Scorpion's (from both MK4 and MKM:SZ)
Sub-Zero's (in MKM:SZ)
Raiden's (in MKDA)
Quan-Chi's (in MKM:SZ and MK4)
Sonya's (in MK4)
Jax's (in MKSF and MKDA and MK4)
Kitana's (in MKG)

I wish they would give the characters GOOD voice acting. If they can't, then just leave it to our imaginations!

Best voice acting in all MK: Shao Kahn.
But yes, back on topic, if Mileena's voice acting is an indicator of the overall level, then I suspect it won't be as bad as we all feared.

I liked baraka's and reptiles in mkG.

Mileenas voice was sexy.

For having such a horrible mouth and a "dentist's worste nightmare" set of teeth, she sounded pretty good.

I think the voice suits her, but the voice acting in general seems really bad... Especially Shujinko, sadly. His VA doesn't seem to do a very good job IMO, and his voice doesn't suit Shujinko at all if you ask me. Then again, I'm not THAT bothered by it, and I didn't exactly have sky high hopes in the first place...

I'm very curious to see how Smoke will sound. I've always magined his voice to be quiet and gentle, but kind of rasping at the same time.

I've always pictured Noob Saibot as being absolutely silent.

I cannot, for the life of me, imagine how Ermac sounds. Being made up of dead souls, probably really creepy.

Mileena, I thought, sounded OK to me.

Rayden's voice was better in MKDA than MK4, methinks too.

As for Sub-Zero, I hope they change from his MK4 voice. He shouldn't sound so gruff.

Baraka I've always seen as sounding gruff and brutal, though. I detested his MK4 voice. Reptile's was good though.

Mileena's voice sounds evil, I like that A LOT!
