Personally, 'Death Traps' r ok but there's a problem.

I've seen the free movie preview from mk5.org web of "Mileena vs Sindel" and realized that when the character throws his/her opponent into the 'Death Trap' he/she will win the round and NOT the match!!

This is not good at all. What I've always liked about MK is that it contains reality and imagination at the same time.
Not winning the whole match while throwing the opponent into the 'Death Traps' is toooooooooooo ridiculous or way beyond reality.

Also, winning the whole match immediately after the 'Death Trap' is much better than just winning the round.
. Why?
Because this will make the competition between the two characters more tense.
. How?
Imagine yourself playing the match and knowing that there's a 'Death Trap' that will completely end the match. This will give opportunity to the weaker human player to win on the powerful human player. Meaning, the powerful human player won't rest until the last second of the match. So, both of them r in a permanent danger, both of them won't have expectations on whom is going to win on whom and this is more enjoyable to play and watch.
In case both of the characters end up in a 'Death Trap' (like Mileena and Sindel did in the sample movie) having the same amount of blood there'll simply be a draw match.

What do u think?

For more details, in the sample movie u see that both of Mileena and Sindel felt into a 'Death Trap' where Mileena had a higher amount of blood level than Sindel, so Mileena won the 1st ROUND. In my opinion, Mileena should have won the whole MATCH.
As I said before, in case both of them felt in the 'Death Trap' having the same amount of blood level they'll end up having a DRAW MATCH.

I think that they didn't want to bring back the barrier from MK:DA, so they made death traps -- ring-outs MK-style. Besides, there still might be stage fatalities that'll have to be done at the end of the match, like the past MKs.

sorry but someone close this DAMN topic now please!!!

for one, i hate people that bitch when they dont even know what they are talking about!!!

you can change it on the options screen for to win one round(cause some people will complain that they won 1 round and 90% health and then some guy got lucky and won with a deathtrap)

other like you will complain that it should win the whole match and it would be unrealistic if it was only one round.

so u have an option to make deathtraps work for one round or just to end the match completely.

there is an option. every porblem i had so far with this and MKDA has been fixed. MKDA was a base game, ALL BASE games suck.

but MK:D will kick ass, i was never hyped for MKDA i knew it would suck, but as for MK:D i have been waiting for this game ever since i heard MKDA was coming out.

i am waiting for this game just like i am waiting for MK8 trilogy 2.

this game will kick ass and konquest OMFG youll see!

But don't u think that ring outs=death is too cartoony, there's no longer the sense of a human death, this will give us the feeling of playing with puppets characters and not with humans.

I've liked the idea of death traps since the first time I've heard of 'em. I just didn't want those barriers back, and the death traps are much better than having the barriers replaced by just walls all the time. The only thing that I thought looked cartoony in any MK was Li Mei in MK:DA (she looks much better in MK:D now).

I like the idea of death traps but I definately think they should end the match, not just 1 round. Maybe they'll fix this in the final game product?

But when i watched the trailer if u flew in a deathtrap it said finish him.
