His role? Midway's feeble attempt to replace Johnny Cage. I really don't like Ben...he seems very boring. To each his own, though.

Looks like a mix of Jin Kazama and SF's Ken to me, which isn't a bad thing hopefully he'll have a good story and fights better than Johhny Cage.

So far he looks kind of bland. Recently Midway has been adding too many human characters (especially martial artists)... I guess this is one more (As far as we know)

Well if they want to replace him for Cage then I think it’s a bad idea. I don’t like it if they replace characters, they tried in the past but without success. If so then I fear he will get some of Cage his moves too like his shadow kick or something. I was hoping they would make a unique character of him.

Yes, I hope he will be completely different with his own set of moves and not too much like Cage.

I don’t mind too many human characters, I like them the best. But MK wouldn’t be MK without some other species among them I agree.

I'm sort of excited. I welcome a replacement for cage, grnated they do it right, meaning great story line and even better moves. It's still to early but I'm keeping an open mind.

At least until I see screenshots of Dairou and/or proof that Skab is a real character, "Ben" is my favorite new character. He's stylin'.
