I dont really like Smoke. Out of the 3 robots he is the one I care less about.

But since I will give him a chance. I say I rather see him in CYBORG then human, since we already have a bunch of ninjas....

Konqrr has claimed that Smoke will appear in MKD as neither human or cyber. Everything he's claimed to have inside info on before has proven accurate so far, so I take his word on it.

I'm guessing Smoke has achieved a super-natural form somehow to escape his robot body. Hopefully the new look is cool. I await E3's coverage for answers.

yes konqrr seen the pics, but i wonder what his alternate outfit is. i already know he isnt human or cyborg, and thats great, no more cyborgs and no more ninjas. i like his new form. its a cloud of smoke i said only 50 times already.

i doubt he has the spear though cause since this is a home console now and not an arcade thingy. Midway is gonna go with lazy palette swaps and fighters using other peoples SIGNATURE moves.

plus he isnt cyborg so his spear couldnt come from his chest. and thats good , he will have his own moves, and look nothing like scorpion anymore.

Anyway, im just hoping that it wouldnt be another blaze reject only with smoke. Otherwise id hate smoke forever..i mean even though he was a scorp rip off back then he WAS pretty cool. i think a cloud of smoke will be dumb because its ganna look dumb when he gets hit by someone...he is not solid..how is he ganna get hit...its ganna be dumb..then when their is a fatality there will be thousands of large popcorn on the floor even though he is a cloud of smoke.

I dont think midway is dumb enough to make him all smoke..i do think he will have a smoke aura cause otherwise fine make him cyborg,cause he wouldnt be smoke anymore..i dont think id even play as him if he was all smoke unless he had a good alt.

yeah; and let each costume have 2 different fatalities and suicide moves as well as special moves/weapons etc.

Bottomline: either they will make smoke another dynasty characther, or he will suffer and burn as unpopular.simple as that.

I'm really hoping he's not some transparent, grey blaze look-a-like with a bunch of smoke coming off him Or just a walking smoke cloud Neither would be very interesting. He's a mortal serving the Lin Kuei, not an elemental afterall.
