What do you think the source of Sub-Zero's mastery of cold is? (possible spoilers)

Sub-Zero: While still in Outworld, the Lin Kuei Grand Master, Sub-Zero, discovers the secret of his true heritage - the source of his mastery over cold temperatures. This discovery will aid him in the fight to destroy the Dragon King's vile and bloodthirsty Tarkatan hordes.

This is puzzling to me, but maybe some of you out there have good ideas.

I think that after Sub-Zero discovered his heritage, he will never the same again..... perhaps turn heel? wink

I think it might be some kind of sorcery. Either something to do with Quan Chi, or the Dragon King.

My guest is this, since reptiles are cold-blooded, and since The Last Dragon Egg was kept in lava (high temperatures), and was guarded by Blaze, I think Sub-Zero's mastery could be the key to feezing the Dragon King forever (since he's immortal when he drinks The Last Dragon's blood). I can see Shujinko fighting and being killed by the immortal DK, but Sub-Zero using the Dragon Medallion (which was stolen from the Dragon King by some of his priests who wanted his tyranny to end, maybe so they could finally pass on) to freeze the Dragon King permanently.
