I think the WSL is still in pretty much in full operation. Sure Kang is dead ,but the WSL still lives on. Kang just trained and I guess was a teacher there. Kung Lao is just the last good member of the WSL. I guess the WSL is open or whatever.In terms of its future, I don't see a threat to it as a whole, but of course will become under threat when Earth is under attack like by Dragon King.

Kai is still a member, as he isn't dead. And from the endings and explanation/screenshots of the Wu Shi Academy, we can tell that Lao is training classes of young kids - so they're probably WLS as well. I think Subby will team up with Smoke, and not interfere w/ the Society. And Kang may return good, so he may be considered a member still...
