Please excuse my ignorance, I'm new here. I'm trying like heck to get better at MKD to beat a horrible cocky/conceited roomate who is a very sore winner (and an even worse loser!). I've noticed in a lot of guides the term 50/50 ... what is that? For example, in a baraka guide the person tells us to learn the move down+4, and says that it knocks them back enough to do some more 50/50. Can someone please clarify?

50/50 means you don't know what they are going to do next after that attack (like that baraka attack, you don't know if he is going to attack low or high and where you should block)

Well... Iori9 is correct. 50/50 refers to High/Low mix -ups. Most characters in MKD/MKA have 50/50 mix-ups to a certain degree. Mavado, Kabal, Tanya, Scorpion to name a few.

Refer to this site for some of the terms that are used by online players. Alternatively, Refer to either of the two Online Boards (PS2 or XBOX) for help from players.
