Maybe it means you get an extra mode if you buy it so if you buy it you might get some more classic characters,not sure.

perhaps they mean the picture on the game box, I doubt that only the special edition of this game would have scorpion.

OOOO OOO I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS

i figured it out it means that only EBgames has scorpion on their box if you get it for xbox because at gamespot they have only sub-zeros for both ps2 n xbox

It's just the big cover. Inside you're gonna have the regular game with the DK box art and all the other stuff.

DAMN xBOX gets 4 to choose from and ps2 only gets one to choose BUT subzeros looks the best and thats the one i want to GOOD, but raidens looks hot. ANyway i too like the DK boxart but they both come together like u said i hope.
baraka looks plastic as hell and he is the only one in the game that looks plastic. I hate his stupid boxart. Scorpion raiden and sub look tough though and the DK boxart looks badass.

The DK looks cool on the box but in gameplay him and subzero look stupid as hell. only their high res's look cool.
