I don't have a lot of money or many games for my ps3 right now but trying to decide if I should trade in Madden 09 and SC4 and put it towards MKvsDCU.I wonder if I should do it now to so I don't try later and them not be worth as much trade in value later on.

And if you are planning on trading games in for MKvsDCU,what games are you trading in towards it?

Don't trade in games. You never get more than twenty dollars on any game. Hell, I sold my Gamecube and Xbox and only got 15 bucks -_-

About Me

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yes sir, the check is in the mail."

Jack Burton has seldomly traded anything in, so he wouldn't be a good authority to go on...

Sucks you only got $15 for both the Gamecube and X-Box...

I would trade in SC4 if I were in your shoes because SC4 was a huge disappointment to me due to sub par online, the lame excuse for character creator and the fact that gameplay hasn't changed that much since its dreamcast predecessor. Why the hell wasn't there a tag mode in the game when the functionality is there, that's just lazy game design in my book. ...... sorry I went off on a rant there.

I typically don't trade in many games, cuz I usually only buy games I know I'm going to love. 360 was the first system I've ever traded in, so the games I had on that don't count, lol. But I will say this. I bought Soul Calibur 4. I wanted a next gen fighter to hold me over till MK vs DC. I've never played a SC before. I never liked many 3-D games. I hate Tekken and VF and DOA. Soul Calibur 4 didn't make me like that type of game anymore than I used to, and I will be trading in SC4 the day MK vs DC comes out. SC4 wasn't bad. I'm sure SC fans love it. It's just not for me. Like someone said before, the online was lack luster, but that's not my biggest problem with it. My major issue was the fact of how cheap people are online, and how you don't even have to know how to play to get easy wins online.
Now MKD and MKA were incredibly cheap online alot of times. But at least you had to know how to play to be cheap like that. You have to learn the characters. In SC4 you can just pick anyone, and button mash the quick hits all the way to victory. SC4 looked good that's about it. I went to trade it in at Gamestop a week after it came out, but decided to keep it since they were only gonna give me $25 for it. So I decided to deal with it till MK vs DC comes out.
As for Madden, I havn't spent money on a Madden game since Madden 03. It hasn't changed at all since then beside getting more overly complicated. MK vs DC looks fresh, innovative and new. Your choice is clear. Search your feelings.....you will know it to be true.

Everything that I had that I could possibly want to trade in, I already have.
Aside from Onimusha 4, what a garbage of a game.

But if someone said, "You absolutely have to trade something in to have this game," I'd trade my PSP version of Tekken 5.

Well I did it.
I traded in SC4,Madden09 and VF5.
Reasons why for each of them.
SC4 was cool at first but I have not really played it since the first 2 weeks and went ahead and traded it in now before it wasn't worth that much later on.

Madden09-While a cool game and I had fun with it.The game pisses me off beyond any other game and mostly cause of the online.Madden just brings out the worse in me and I don' t have that much money to buy a brand new controller.

And VF5-Well what can I say?I had fun playing it but with the lack of online play the game isn't that much fun for me.

So I made up my mind and I think I made the right choice cause I have always played the hell out of MK games now matter which ones they were.I don't regret it yet but if the game sucks, some heads over at Midway are sure gonna roll.

I have never traded any of my games ever cause first of all I love my games and keep them and I still even play my old systems.
I only buy games I know i'll play like crazy.

Second thing you never get a good deal out of trading your games and you all ways get riped off.

Plus you should have just waited a little game prices drop so fast.
The other day I bought Like four ps2 games all and all came out to a total of around 20 bucks. If I were you I would have kept thoes games.

Well I got more then enough to pay off the collectors edition of the game and thats what I really wanted to get in the first place so I was happy about that.I think I did the smart thing.I don't play SC4 anymore,Madden upsets me even though my record on there is 53-35 and VF5 on the ps3 just isn't fun by yourself anymore. In the end I figured I would play MKvsDCU more then those 3 so right now I am ok with the deal I made.Surprisingly enough I still kept NGS.
