Good idea. I mean Quan Chi is a super jackass and if anybody would be involved in a deception it would be him.
But, I don't think that will be the case.

I firmly believe that Quan Chi is the main "deceptor" of the game.
I think he didn't forgot his amulet, he left on the floor an altered copy before escaping, to fool Onaga and, in the right time, somehow, he'll attack the DK.
Mark my words: Quan Chi is the real DECEPTION of the game.

Mileena's bio says something like "Only Baraka knows the truth behind her deception" or some shit like that. Maybe what she's doing is the "deception". I doubt Midway would try and make us think about what the deception actually is. They're not smart enough for that, and they know that there's a lot of obsessed MK fans that are 12 years old, and their mental capacities aren't as great as other 12-year-olds

Well, we are pretty sure Shang Tsung was killed by Raiden but yeah, what happened to Quan? or are we just supposed to assume? Kinda hope to see him again myself.

I honestly hope he's not the "deception" in this game. Honestly, Quan's villain status has always seemed "manufactured" so to speak. Like the MK team is trying their hardest to make him a credible threat and a villain on the same level as the "classics" (Shao Khan and Shang Tsung) and I'm just not buying it at all. I'm tired of Quan Chi really.

I'd like Quan Chi to be playable, but I don't think that he should play a huge role in this game. It's possible that he is the Real Deception in MK:D. I haven't heard anything about Quan Chi since I heard that MK:D coming out. I've always perfered Shang Tsung to Quan, liked him more as a villian and he kicked so much more ass then Quan in DA. All the characters are going have some Deception in mind so I can't really say who I think the real Deception is, I just hope its not Quan Chi.
