This is an old idea and I still don't like it! lol Raiden must stay good, but if it'd add to his story and help MK in some way, then I suppose it could happen.

To be honest, I don't see Rayden turning evil in MK:D. Becoming extremely disillusioned (sp?) by the Elder Gods and therefore somewhat angry, yes. Perhaps this could lead to the thunder god down the road to darkness in later games....I just hope not.
