hmm.. from the intro it seems like shinjuko got deceved by what he thought was an elder god.. it was probley the dk.. fooling him..

Either bad or good, he will determine the final outcome of this game that will lead into the next game.

It could make sense since the game is call deception and it would caught the fans by surprise. Imagine playing through Konquest with Shujinko and unlocking him and seeing his ending as a bad guy.

Turning out as a bad guy would certainly be my thought wave. Perhaps something the Dragon King has, Shijinko wants. In order to get it, the Dragon King must be defeated.

You know I wonder if Shunjinko could possible be a sub-boss? Didn't Boon say the sub-boss would be unlockable.. maybe through conquest it shows him in an alliance to the DK in order to catch him by surprise or to take something away from him... Possible unlikley from the intro but you never know.

I think Shujinko was duped by Shinnok. The Dragon Amulet - Kamidogu - was originally held by Shinnok in MK4. Shinnok is a fallen Elder God. Shinnok had the amulet ripped by him via Quan Chi. Quan & Shang raised the DK's army, while Cyrax & Nitara raised the DK (with Reptile).

Shujinko, I think, gets the Kamidogu for Shinnok in MK4 era - during the Konquest mode. Shinnok is most likely at heart here. Yet, no one mentions him. Why? I do not know.

You know what would be interesting if Onaga was really a mortal incarnation of shinnok. BUt you gotta watch doing that and alot of people here are sick of OMG this character is this, but I agree I think the only player missing from this whole plot and story is shinnok.

I think what get's me about that is shinnok orignally had the Amulet constructed... you know the whole thing about an amulet that could only be created once... so youd think he has to tie in somewhere. Hmmm that would be interesting to have shinnok as a sub-boss or something too.

Onaga wanted to talk to Rayden/DA(about Shujinko). But they attacked him not knowing his motives. He never attacked back. Rayden freaked out, and instantly blew everything up. Onaga, seeing that Quan Chi was dead, wanted to return the Amulet to the good guys. Shujinko knew this would probably happened, and arranged for Onaga's rebirth so he could take the Amulet back.

The Dragon King, one of the good guys?

That's out there.

The Dragon King doesn't look like he is good at all. Just look at that friendly face.

What about Goro?

Goro could pass off as either good or bad.

You know that is interesting though, I mean really they did just start throwing everything they had at the dragon king.. without even seeing what was up for one, and for two.. they really should have try the whole hand to hand thing first.. but then no MKD.
