Why was it a bad idea? Because you can't take unfair advantage again like DA where you could have scorpions 4 hit sword combo followed by 3 juggling upward swings followed by a sidestep slash, then when they stand up you can do it again? Sorry, ain't gonna swing that way this time around. Now we can actually break out of a unbelivably long combo. Plus they are limited to how many breakers, so no one can complain about constant combo breaking. It's one of the best features in the game next to death traps and returning stages and 2 fatalities a character, and wow this game is going to rock!

Yea, ultimately I rahter have them than not, even if they are implemented this way. The game doesnt become as lame just trying to get the first hit of your combo over and over (cuase once that hit that garunteed the whole combo, unlike some combos in other figthers)
